1 excused missed turn
Wed 28 Apr UTC Spring, 2004: I sent a message to the moderators to let them know what's up
Wed 28 Apr UTC Spring, 2004: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Wed 28 Apr UTC Spring, 2004: New Cuba. Hate to see games get stuck. Low expectations, but open to offers!
Fri 30 Apr UTC Spring, 2004: So I assume we have a new NY player? Welcome. Strange that that GM does not announce replacement players. Which NY ordered the Spring turn? New or Old?
Fri 30 Apr UTC Spring, 2004: Still old NY. These are his saved orders from last week.

After retreats, we will have to wait 48 hours for NY to be booted. Then another 24 hours for the Fall moves to happen with the new NY.

So those of you that are retreating, it’d be really nice if you could ready those retreat orders so we can start the 72 hour waiting period.
Fri 30 Apr UTC Spring, 2004: Oh I thought NY was Admiral somebody, must have been another game. Thanks for the info Florida.
Fri 30 Apr UTC Spring, 2004: Grand Admiral was Old Cuba.
Fri 30 Apr UTC Spring, 2004: Roger, thanks.
Fri 30 Apr UTC Spring, 2004: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Sat 01 May UTC Spring, 2004: I assume this game had no minimum reliability rating.
Sat 01 May UTC Spring, 2004: At this rate, all the players will be replacements with zero bet, so we can all draw, make a profit, and move on with our gaming life.
Sat 01 May UTC Spring, 2004: This site really needs to treat CD as a defeat in the stats. Most CD’s I see are because a player gets stabbed by an ally (Mexico stabbing Peru in this case). The player then chooses to go into CD to avoid a defeat on their stats.
Sat 01 May UTC Spring, 2004: Ideally there'd be some kind of overall activity metric the site could use, incorporating game messages, forum posts, and orders issued, which could help determine if someone legitimately forgot or missed the deadline, or if they abandoned a game maliciously.
Sat 01 May UTC Spring, 2004: When you take a look at open positions, it’s just so highly correlated with being stabbed. Occasionally people get very busy in RL and miss two turns back-to-back, but more often than not it is malicious.
Sat 01 May UTC Spring, 2004: In this particular case, Peru hasn’t visited the site since Wednesday. So his NMR is at least not due to being stabbed in this game.
Sat 01 May UTC Spring, 2004: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Sat 01 May UTC Spring, 2004: New peru
Sat 01 May UTC Spring, 2004: Welcome, thanks for joining
Sun 02 May UTC Spring, 2004: Welcome Peru.

Cuba — just waiting on you so we can start NY’s 48 hour waiting game
Mon 03 May UTC Autumn, 2004: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Tue 04 May UTC Autumn, 2004: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Tue 04 May UTC Autumn, 2004: This is incredible. Only two of the original ten players are still here?
Tue 04 May UTC Autumn, 2004: Original Heartland disappeared before the first turn had even gone through, so I've been here for as long as things have actually been happening, but yeah
Tue 04 May UTC Autumn, 2004: So if we draw now, everyone make a profit!
Tue 04 May UTC Autumn, 2004: I am one of those 2 who have stuck through - and boy has it been an adventure!
Tue 04 May UTC Autumn, 2004: ...and the adventure is about to continue!
Wed 05 May UTC Autumn, 2004: I think Cuba just did the equivalent of “you can’t fire me, I quit!”

New Cuba just didn’t have what it takes to be a good Janissary. Too prideful to play second fiddle. So hard to find good help these days.

Guess Mexico and I will have to deal with Peru on our own. Maybe we can do a big convoy of a NY army to Lima on the final turn of the game.
Wed 05 May UTC Autumn, 2004: Tell me which of us has more points.
Wed 05 May UTC Autumn, 2004: You been playing for 12 years. Who has the better stats and higher Ghost Rating? Have a seat before you hurt yourself old man.

A bit of advice. You might make it to a few more draws if you learn how to play a poor hand.
Wed 05 May UTC Autumn, 2004: Your communication style is endlessly patronizing and obnoxious. I thought maybe this game would be different after butting heads last time we shared a board. I won't knowingly do so again.
Wed 05 May UTC Autumn, 2004: And I'll take your advice when you've played on the final board at worlds, as I have.
Wed 05 May UTC Autumn, 2004: Awesome! Fewer irrational players makes for better game experience. Maybe you can try Candy Crush or Fruit Ninja. Those might be better suited for fragile snowflakes.
Wed 05 May UTC Autumn, 2004: Lol. Anyone who actually uses the word snowflake as an insult truly reveals what a wretched person they are. Have fun moderating your men's rights forum on 4Chan.
Wed 05 May UTC Autumn, 2004: Haha, that was a good one. Let’s stop on your first decent comeback. Not the least bit accurate, but funny.
Wed 05 May UTC Autumn, 2004: Can we all just team up against Florida please?
Thu 06 May UTC Autumn, 2004: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Thu 06 May UTC Autumn, 2004: Hi new Quebec here, don't think I'll be here for long haha
Thu 06 May UTC Autumn, 2004: thank you for continuing the game
Sat 07 PM UTC Spring, 2005: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Sat 07 PM UTC Spring, 2005: lets see how long I hold on too
Mon 03 PM UTC Autumn, 2005: I'm really curious about Mexico's motivation here.
Mon 03 PM UTC Autumn, 2005: I believe we have lost all the original players on this game, sad. We could call it here and everyone go on with life. Everyone profits.
Mon 03 PM UTC Autumn, 2005: Cuba, how does it feel to give your last SC up to a guy who can’t even bother to submit orders? Will Peru even bother to build at Bogata or just keep sleeping?
Mon 04 PM UTC Autumn, 2005: I was not going to last either way. Mexico had decent position as recently as 2 or 3 turns ago, but has just kept pushing south against Peru while you and Cali take all of his centers behind him.
Mon 04 PM UTC Autumn, 2005: There's no law against being the tip of someone else's spear, but usually it would be a last resort.
Mon 04 PM UTC Autumn, 2005: Too many player changes
Tue 12 AM UTC Autumn, 2005: Gl all
Tue 12 AM UTC Autumn, 2005: i have to destroy 4 units oof
Tue 12 AM UTC Autumn, 2005: Guadalajara, Guerrero Coast Mexico, Potosi, seem the most logical from my perspective
06:42 PM UTC I’m content with taking the points off the board now as there are no more original players. While the draw isn’t in operation my current goal is minn, Durango guad and enough units to enforce the draw. While I don’t mind if someone doesn’t want to set draw while that is happening the goal is too elim8nate heartland and then maybe Mexico but he snuck in to hide with Peru. So up to you guys but I’d like to have the units to enforce a draw
