23 Feb 21 UTC Spring, 1901: Greetings dear Westerners and Turkey,
The Russian Minister of Foreign Policy wishes all of you a managable war and happy plotting ;)
24 Feb 21 UTC Spring, 1901: Greetings as well from Italy. Happy to talk about helping anyone to manage their wars.
24 Feb 21 UTC Spring, 1901: And being part of any plotting :-)
21 Mar 21 UTC Spring, 1907: I always find it to be pretty funny how a winning Russia, in an alliance, tends to barely have more centeres than the others but covers more than double the land mass.
21 Mar 21 UTC Spring, 1907: I was thinking the same thing just yesterday. And England seems to hold almost no land at all compared to Russia. But we hold the sea! Mare nostrum :)
22 Mar 21 UTC Autumn, 1907: Congratulations to my fellow alliance leaders. Together we conquered all of Europe. Long may we rule!
Those Italians that fled across the sea can stay in those barren lands if they promise never to return to the fertile grounds of Europe.

On a more serious note, can we draw now? Or does it matter for the rankings/points that France isn't officially defeated yet? In that case we can wait until after the build fase.
22 Mar 21 UTC Autumn, 1907: I'm happy drawing now, the points are ascribed as expected. If it counts France as surviving, I have no issue with that.

Good game, dear friends, it has been a grand time playing with you
22 Mar 21 UTC Autumn, 1907: Yeah didn't think it would matter for the points, do you know if it has an influence on the ghost ranking?
22 Mar 21 UTC Autumn, 1907: ghost rating*
22 Mar 21 UTC Autumn, 1907: "If you draw in a sum-of-squares scoring (SoS) game, we calculate your actual score with the following equation:

actualScore = yourSupplyCenters ^ 2 / allSupplyCenters ^ 2"

So I suspect not, but am not 100% certain
22 Mar 21 UTC Autumn, 1907: https://webdiplomacy.net/ghostRatings.php
22 Mar 21 UTC Autumn, 1907: Yeah I was looking at that as well, but there are so many formulas on that page that it is easy to overlook something.
22 Mar 21 UTC Autumn, 1907: The way I read it, in DSS games the calculation takes into account however many people are in the draw, but in SoS all that matters is how many centres you have. In that case, the ghost ratings shouldn't be affected by how many people are in the draw. It's not obvious though, and like I say, I'm not certain. If you want to wait until after the build phase, it's no drama
22 Mar 21 UTC Autumn, 1907: I tend to agree with what you say, but I'm also not 100% sure, so maybe waiting until after the builds is the safer thing to do. (sorry France)
23 Mar 21 UTC Alright, it's after the builds and I entered my draw vote.
Hurry up, guys! We don't want to gove the Italians any additional time to make their army into a makeshift fleet and sail over to Syria!
23 Mar 21 UTC Italy can you draw this game? Or do you really want us to come and conquer Tunis?
23 Mar 21 UTC Geez. Aggressivel. Thought i had voted draw already.
23 Mar 21 UTC Thanks for draw. Well fought everyone
23 Mar 21 UTC Sorry Italy, it was meant jokingly, not aggressively.
23 Mar 21 UTC GG, Everyone!
I really enjoyed this game and I had wonderful allies.
