20 Feb 21 UTC gg rome
20 Feb 21 UTC Persia. You are obviously new here so I’ll try to be constructive and not too critical. But attacking me was 100% throwing the game away and gifting the win to Rome. Wouldn’t have been simple to hold on - well played Rome. But it was almost certainly a three way draw. No prizes in this game for losing but surviving and it is unfair to others to just give up if that is what happened. Hopefully learn and get better. Disappointing finish.
20 Feb 21 UTC I'm satisfied with this finish, at least I survived and was a thorn in Persia's side.
20 Feb 21 UTC @Egypt - I'll throw in you're partly responsible in king making for how you decided to defend yourself and 'gift' your west to Rome, but the trigger event was the early stab from Persia
20 Feb 21 UTC Great game everyone!
Egypt- You played well, and I would’ve done the exact same thing you did when faced with a Persian attack, in order to force an alliance against the dominant power
Greece- Well done staying alive against such an onslaught
Carthage
Persia- You had a very strong start, and I admire your guts in going for the win rather taking the easy draw
20 Feb 21 UTC Gg. I should have gone after Rome I’m sorry Egypt
21 Feb 21 UTC @carthage. As Rome points out. The tactic was to demonstrate that Rome would win if Persia continued to attack (plus I had little choice). You will note that the very next move I went back west again as I intended to hold back Rome if Persia helped. But he just kept attacking anyway so it didn’t matter either way. Hopefully things to learn and note for next time
