07 Jan 21 UTC Oh my god, BC. I really disappointed with you moves at some last turns, Why do you need to for cus on Peru, Let him there, we have more thing to do ....
07 Jan 21 UTC WP gents.
NY did the same exact thing all game. But nobody paid attention. Heartland you should have been able to hold NY back at minimum. But a good player in your shoes would have knifed NY in spring 09 and made your own solo bid.
Wish I had kept my foot on the Peruvian throat instead of letting him back in the game
07 Jan 21 UTC Could you please walkthrough how heartland could have "knifed" NY in 09? He had no fleets on the Great Lakes and the only NY center Heartland bordered was Ohio, which was occupied. He was at least three moves (three very obvious moves) from being in position to stab.
07 Jan 21 UTC Congrats, NY. You did a very good jobs. @BC: Yes, i know that you also did a very good one, but I think we expect more than that from an expect player like you in since 2019
07 Jan 21 UTC Autumn 2016--why did BC try to dot me? I just got so annoyed that I threw the solo
07 Jan 21 UTC Thanks a lot guys, thanks a lot for playing together this, I've enjoyed it a lot.
I'm happy to win a solo, but also sad. I had so great cooperation with Heartland-nguyment, I felt bad to make a stab. So let's say the casus belli was moving to Strait of Yucatan in S 2021 which was my territory so it wasn't my fault. :)
I think if we play a live game I wouldn't do the stab, I was so happy we could together win against Quebec and later Florida which was really tough and we could stop BC who was heading to a solo position. With the slow play I could let the feeling gone slowly. We built up so good trust which started to disappear in S 2018. I know I got into too good position, and building up defense was reasonable, but getting units to the borders made the stab possible.
I made some stupid moves but was finally lucky. Yes BC and Peru fight helped me a lot. I think sweetwatersam was thinking on a 3 way draw which was a likely end for this game in the middle. But I think also that continue attacking Peru after I made the stab was a mistake.
I would like to say congratulation to dagabs0-Florida, he could hold back us so long against a clear majority, it was a great job. And BC-sweetwatersam was also doing a good defense at the North battle around S 2011.
Anyway, thanks the game again, I wish You good games and better luck. I hope we meet in other games!
10 Jan 21 UTC Strong play Kissemo, well done.
