02 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1901: A good joke? Nah, but I have a bad one:

Women's suffrage.
03 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Women's rights
03 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1901: the England football team
04 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1901: ...or the Italian or the French. Can you please finalise Orders so we can get on with it.....Thanks.
04 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1901: ya know, if someone's waiting for an answer from someone else, then they're allowed to not finalize. but if you're just not finalizing for the sake of not finalizing, then that's stupid.
05 Jul 10 UTC Autumn, 1901: i've got a joke.

This duck walks into a bar and says, "Hey bartender! Got any grapes?"
The bartender looks up and replies, "Nope." So, the duck walks out. 10 minutes later, he walks back in and says, "Hey bartender! Got any grapes?" The bartender looks at him oddly and says, "Uh...no." So, the duck leaves. 10 minutes later, the duck waltzes back in and asks, "Hey bartender! Got any grapes?" The bartender says angrily, "NO!! I don't have any grapes! I told you that two times already!! Now if you come back here and ask for grapes, I'm going to nail your beak to the floor!!" So, the duck leaves. 10 minutes later, he walks back in and says, "Hey bartender! Got any nails?" The bartender looks over at him, confused. "Uh..no." The duck looks at him and says,

"Hey bartender! Got any grapes?"

08 Jul 10 UTC Autumn, 1901: hey guys, i'll be gone for the week of the 18th through the 24th. can we pause for that week?
08 Jul 10 UTC Autumn, 1901: Sure. I'll be gone tomorrow, back on monday. We can pause now, if you like.
10 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1902: Looks like France is going CD.
13 Jul 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: Hey everyone, just letting everyone know that I have joined in for France
13 Jul 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: Thanks Shwip.
14 Jul 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: Welcome shwip - you're a braver man than me.
15 Jul 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: hey, can i get that pause? i'd appriciate it.
16 Jul 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: Shwip, Rule Britannia, Mustermann26, Magistrate, can we please pause? i won't have internet access 'till next saturday, starting tomorrow.
17 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1903: Are the people asking for a pause want that pause because they will be gone for a while, or just because?
17 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1903: He hasn't been on for a while, I'm assuming he genuinely needs it.
17 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1903: Ok. Im sorry. I thought he had asked for a pause a while ago but just dropped out.
17 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1903: Looks like we're just waiting on damo and mustermann
18 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1903: yeah, i'm now officially gone untill next saturday.
18 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1903: Austria won't pause. I'd recommend everyone just get on with it and file some Orders. Cheers, the Tsar.
20 Jul 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: Austria is in Civil disorder, so your pause vote would pass it through.
23 Jul 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: hrrg. that sucks. i'm back now.
24 Jul 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: For the record - let's lay out exactly why the Pause didn't fly, just so Italy is aware.
* Spring didn't fly because Austria didn't vote for it.
* Autumn didn't fly because Germany & myself didn't vote for it.
27 Jul 10 UTC Why are we paused now?
01 Aug 10 UTC Yeah - why are we paused now? Let's get this thing rocking again.
01 Aug 10 UTC It's true, we should start again. I'm away for a week on Saturday though so we could just stay paused until next Friday, giving us a a serious "extended break". Just a suggestion. I'm v.happy to unpause until Friday.
05 Aug 10 UTC O.K, so can we please pause now?
05 Aug 10 UTC ignore my last message, forgot we were all still paused.
05 Aug 10 UTC The joke in "post a good joke" is this stoppage. How come only 2 Players have voted for Unpause ?
05 Aug 10 UTC UNPAUSE
06 Aug 10 UTC UNPAUSE
06 Aug 10 UTC UNPAUSE
06 Aug 10 UTC Could you stop whining? Just wait for the unpause to vote. Play some other games, relax, dude.

16 Aug 10 UTC unpause. i agree.
16 Aug 10 UTC We should now set a deadline: If Italy and France aren't back by Friday we should get the mods to unpause the game, after which we draw as it'll ruin the game if Italy's CD.
23 Aug 10 UTC (TheGhostmaker): Hello,

I have received an email about this game. It seems clear that if I unpause it, the game will have a number of CDs and be very unbalanced. What I can do is force the inactive players into CD and then draw the game, if you wish.
23 Aug 10 UTC That definitely sounds like the fairest possible way of doing it.
23 Aug 10 UTC (TheGhostmaker): If anyone has any objection to this, they should let me know right away, I will force the CDs and draw the game in 3 days' time if no-one complains

In the event this slips my mind, someone please PM me as a reminder(userID=2188)
