12 Aug 20 UTC Spring, 1902: Maybe the Norwegians and Rumanians will pitch in to free Burgundy.
12 Aug 20 UTC Spring, 1902: Oh? and would a russian with 7 and a consolidated north while the east is in battle royale mode be any better? you expect me to sit by and give you the game?
12 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Official statement of the French governtment, derived from the L’Aurore:
"First of all, we would like to express our gratitude towards Italy. Thank you, valued King of Italy, for your friendship and peaceful deminor. Shall our friendly relations stay throughout history!
However, the current state of the Intereuropean warfare is concerning. The eastern nations fight over the Balcans states and do not seem to have any alliances amoung each other whatsoever prolonging the terrible war there while Germany reaps the benefits and invades our dear homeland.
We will do everything possible to prevent these war mongerers from taking our sovereignty. The military is ready to fight and win and show them their mistake.
However, we made a mistake ourselves, too, and we long to aks for forgiveness:
England, honorable Queen, respected Royal family, dear ministers,
We have to ask your leniency. The deceitful Germans drove us to illadvised conclusions about the state of the war and we underestimated the threat they pose. If you decide to provide your support in the name of saving the western European continent we agree to leave the English Channel for good and refrain from building any more fleets at our northern coast."
After this, the French President once more assured France's survival, commemorated of the death the war brought so far and apealed to our allies that we cannot win without our mutual support.
12 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: [Btw, I'm German so it would be great if anyone could tell me if they see grammar/spelling mistakes ;)]

12 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: All I remember from Spanish is "yo no habla español señor."
12 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: I remember most of the grammar from Spanish 1, but Spanish 2 has fled from my mind.
12 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: The King of Italy, who knows that Italy has the all-time lowest win rate of any country, agrees with the French President, and condemns the German aggression. We should end this conflict now and agree to a 7-way draw.
12 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Als ich jung war habe ich ein Paar jahre in Deutschland gewohnt, aber ich habt kein Deutsche gesproch seit mein Kindheit und ich nie Grammatik wiessen :)
