08 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 2002: These delays are getting annoying. Perhaps we should consider a draw? |
08 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 2002: really, like 8 draws now. |
08 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 2002: delays* |
08 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 2002: I would not be opposed (My classes are starting, so I have less time to play) |
09 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 2002: Plus we are nearly to a standstill, unless somebody stabs. The board will stay roughly as is. Egypt, Ukraine and I are at a stalemate in the south Germany and I may make slow progress agasint each other Italy and Germany can probably finish off Spain, but it may be difficult |
09 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 2002: Ukraine and Italy are in the same boat as Germany and I |
09 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 2002: I think there's still some interesting stuff going on with Spain, and I don't think the situation between Russia/Ukraine/Italy/me is a real stalemate yet - I think there's some room for changes. I'm willing to consider a draw in about 2 years if my position remains the same. |
09 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 2002: Spain is heavily defensive, hence why its taken 2 years for Italy and Germany to even take Bor and Auv. and thats including the fact that Italy backdoor-ed me with your help. 2 years from now it'll still be the same situation. People have classes starting and this game already has 8 draws about. even if more delays occur all thatll happen is a continuous string of delays and replacements. It already happened with Italy once. |
09 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 2002: Moderator: (Szpoti): Dear Players, On request of one of the players, this match has been paused till Sunday. Objections to the pause should be sent to the webDiplomacy Moderator Team at [email protected]. |
10 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 2002: Moderator: (Szpoti): The game will be now unpaused. The phase is reset. Game on! |
11 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 2002: Lots of interesting things happened this turn. I don't think this game is over. If you need a pause, you can request one. Or you can just Hold every turn or even retreat to lose faster. But I don't think ending the game prematurely is a good idea. We also all have 1 excused delay each and we knew that going in. How about we try readying as soon as we can to speed the game up? |
