18 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: good luck everyone |
18 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Good luck to you all. I hope that we may grow and prosper, and that we find it in ourselves to settle our disputes with words rather than violence. |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Greetings neighbours and fair travels. |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Florida, I hope we can be peaceful and grow instead of fighting each other. |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Florida, seeing as we have the same name, I hope we can collaborate to create a great sampire across the Caribbean |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: I'm just now noticing that "Caribbean" is spelled wrong on all of the relevant territories on the map. |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Wow I never noticed |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Goodluck everyone :) |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: us sams have to stick together |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Dear BC, Mexico, and Peru: I hereby promise that if you allow me to take Hawaii, a state with which California has traditionally enjoyed strong cultural and economic ties, I will be happy to assist you in any disputes that arise in the opening stages of this conflict. May the Pacific continue to live up to its name. |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Florida, you never responded to my last message, but I would like it if we agreed neither one of us will move to straight of Florida. This will make it so neither one of us will have to worry about the other attacking them. |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Florida if you move into straight if Florida I will work with you to eliminate Cuba quickly |
19 Jun 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: i like the attention lads, shall i play hard to get? |
20 Jun 20 UTC | Autumn, 1999: :) |
20 Jun 20 UTC | Autumn, 1999: Mexico and Peru: Many thanks for respecting my claim to Hawaii. Best of luck in your endeavors. BC: It's hard for me to interpret that move to GoA as anything other than an attempt to take Hawaii or outright aggression towards me. I have no problem with you keeping it there for defensive purposes, but any moves further south will be interpreted as aggression. Heartland and Texas: Congratulations on what appears to be relatively uncontested expansion. While I would never suggest initiating violence against another sovereign power, I believe it's appropriate at this point to note that cooperation against an aggressor would not only help maintain peace on this continent, but also contribute greatly to the resources available to our people. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. |
20 Jun 20 UTC | Autumn, 1999: boring |
20 Jun 20 UTC | Autumn, 1999: Mexico, since Florida and Peru are both attacking me now would be a perfect time to steal all of the open supply centers bordering Peru. |
21 Jun 20 UTC | Autumn, 1999: Mexico and California - what do you say to maintaining our current borders with eachother and a three-way peace. Mexico, you get Yucatan and we DMZ Coahulla? |
21 Jun 20 UTC | Autumn, 1999: Sounds great to me, Texas. |
