22 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: Ukraine is my friend
22 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: Leave me alone and so will they
22 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: *and so will they you
22 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: Why can't Morocco retreat to SAO?
22 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: Because of the bounce.
22 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: And Spain is my friend!
22 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: Man, what a crazy year that was.
22 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: Leaf me alone
23 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: I have hopes and dreams!
23 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: Take your army away to pointlessly attack Poland, who is innocent just like me... Actually, you should point it at the true threat, Italy.
23 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: Spain: smol, not many SC's
Italy: big, many SC's
23 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: this message is directed to Germany, but I intended for it to be in Global
23 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: I just forgot to mention Germany by name
23 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: You name name no more panda delivery for you
23 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: Go Egypt!
23 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: My favorite is how Germany has USED England. Like completely used. Germany grows to 12 SCs. England shrinks. England continues to fight for Germany, gets nothing. Lol.
23 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: Ikr?
23 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: That's what I told them!
23 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1999: "England shrinks"
Weird, I wonder how that happened.
26 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 2000: As we say in Turkey, "Bye!"
26 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 2000: What do you have to get to to solo?
26 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 2000: 33...the board name "Modern Diplomacy II" has a link that takes you to the map rules.
29 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: You can have the beach-front property. I'll chill right here.
29 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Shame too many people in this game were spineless! Going for a 4 way draw is no way to win!
29 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Sorry 3 way draw***

Cause if England thinks they’re part of this...HAHAHA
29 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Are you sure Italy still isn't trying to solo?
29 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: "Going for a draw is no way to win!" "Building a fleet is no way to build an army!" "Turning the heat up is no way to cool down!" Etc.
29 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: It's a tempting thought, but I'm not sure I've got the skill to pull it off. I'd be interested to play a game where everyone commits to solo-or-bust, though.
29 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: No-draw would be a very interesting setting
29 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: No-draw would be a very interesting setting
29 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: I have to disagree a bit. I think that almost everyone who plays diplomacy wants to solo, but in most situations it's not possible and therefore not worth trying. Because of the stalemate lines no-draw would mean that most games would never end, or would end only by everyone getting fed up and resigning.

On the other hand, going for draw is never certain. Anyone can always try solo because draws need to be unanimous. That's the beauty of this game, for me at least!
30 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Dear Italy,
May I visit the beach?
30 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: By all means!
30 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: You aren't lying, are you?
30 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Nah, I wouldn't deny a dying country's last request. If you want to go out at Andalucia then I'll keep it open for you.
02 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 2002: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
05 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2002: Goodbye England, Poland, and Ukraine.
05 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2002: Scroll back to June 28th notes
06 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2002: To save time on individual messages--it seems to me that conquering Britain over Germany's objections would be more of a headache than it's worth, so I'm willing to take the 4-way draw and call it a day.
06 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2002: Fine by me! Btw I think everyone should unpause this manually
08 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2002: Moderator: (goldfinger0303): Unpaused. If you have any concerns about unpausing please email webdipmod@gmail.com.
09 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 2003: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
11 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2003: That's a lot of green
11 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2003: Why did you shift out of our alliance to an alliance with Ukraine
Our Britain Egypt Germany Italy alliance is so solid
11 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2003: Alliances that last the whole game are boring.
11 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2003: Don't worry, I'll let Andalucia stay orange. :)
12 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2003: Indeed I must say this is a particular boring game where players don’t aim for victory but decide for tedious draws. That’s not the point of the game. You might as well go fishing.
12 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 2004: Long live active diplomacy games!
16 Jul 20 UTC gg all
16 Jul 20 UTC Surprising that Britain didn't get eliminated
