23 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: Russia and Turkey are not the same person. Cut the crap and play the game.
23 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: Please be respectful all, what have we gained by arguing exactly?
23 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: I think that we can criticize the style of our opponents. And it is easier to "isolate" somebody that most players think negative about him
23 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: And of course, we may pay attention or not , to messages
23 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: France is right, of course. I apologize if my response came off as condescending or argumentative. In fact it was probably both.

England, you are also right. We can indeed choose to ignore what other nations have to say. That is a choice I will be making for the remainder of this game.
23 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: I think that Russia will have the same reaction, but as I wrote in my previous message,my comments are to all other players, except "both" of you .And whatever I'll write , you will now it anyway ,from our private convertations .Some spies found them and they are ready to give it to newspapers
23 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: know instead of now
24 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: I agree with Turkey. I did not intend for my comments to be argumentative, only to make an observation of what is apparently prevalent in this game. I really don't believe that this is right forum to air out hateful comments towards another.
24 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: Hmm, I just kinda agree with England.
24 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: Geeze I just want to play a game. This sounds way to personnel.
24 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: This is a game that is SUPPOSED to be for fun. Can we PLEASE just play the game and leave out all the hate and personal attacks, ESPECIALLY from this forum?
24 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: I don't find in your behavior so much fun. Of course Austria and "BOTH" of you don't like other's opinions, but truth will come up very soon. And instead of big words , you may try to talk about facts
24 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: OK, England, you've made your accusation. Do you have to keep bringing it up? I agree with Russia, this is supposed to be fun.
25 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: It is supposed to be fun and you may agree with RUS.I assume that he is trying to persuade you with polite messages but I have some more. Maybe later on ,FRA and AUS will agree with me.
25 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: To be fair, England is correct. From the official doplomacy rules as written by Avalon Hill ... "Conversations, deals, schemes, and agreements among players will greatly affect the course of the game. During diplomatic negotiations, players may say anything they wish." So, if England scheme is to disenfranchise the board towards Russia, it is certainly within the rules of the game.
25 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: RUS and TUR know very well that , that's why they despertlly try to avoid their uncovering. But as I said ,there are more to be messaged
25 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: I think England and Italy are the same person.

See. See how silly that sounds?
25 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: Well Turkey, I can offer the same thing as Russia. I can make sure you hold Con.
25 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: England, there is plenty from our conversations, and what you have written to others that I know about, that I could use for personal attacks on you and to defame you as well, so please stop the "more righteous than thou" attitude. I will not participate in such an exchange, nor do I believe that others are interested on a global forum. Before I consider doing such things, I ask myself two questions:

1) Is it being done for the further enjoyment of the game for all, (which is all this is), or as a personal vendetta against you, based upon that I want you and others to be miserable, (like I must be to do so in the first place)?

2) What does it do CONSTRUCTIVELY to help others to enjoy and play the game? (which is really the point of ALL of this, is it not?)

From my viewpoint, it would do neither, so it is not appropriate for me to do so, nor will I do so. I understand that the rules say that I can say and do whatever I want, but does that mean that I should spread hatred and attack on others on a PERSONAL level? Not to mention the fact, that AGAIN, if I choose to do so, this is NOT the appropriate forum to do it. If you want to send me personal attacks, hate mail and even death threats, do it to me personally, but not in this forum, which is not fair to the other players.

I ask ONE LAST TIME for a cease-fire on the hatred and personal attacks. I just found out that my mother has died, and I would very much appreciate some peace of mind at this time; otherwise, I may cease all activity on not only this game, but this website. Is that what your ultimate goal is with the continual personal attacks and hatred???
25 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: You all have understand that I don't know very good English.I'm going to copy here two sentences that I recieved from "2 different "players, and I want your opinions if this expresion is a common one.I never have heard of it before
25 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: First one""""""""""(I stand corrected )and beg your indulgence for my mistake""""""""""
25 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: Second """""""""""""""" (I stand corrected )in my question of exaggerating""""""""""''
25 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: And because ,I maybe don't know good English, although I think that I'm able to compare the writing style and finding many similarities to the messages of the "2" that I really doubt
I really want the opinions of FRA-ITA-GER
25 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: It is very easy for me to publish more examples ,so you can compare them to the ones that you recieved
25 Jun 10 UTC Spring, 1904: """"""""(To: You, from Russia) - Spring, 1901: Hello to the great Prime Minister of England. Having just returned from the battlefield, (also known as my job), this is my first opportunity to write to you, so I come with no agenda but an open mind.

I am interested in what you have in mind in working together. I am looking for a long-term alliance in which both honor their word and support their ally. What do you propose? I await your reply. """"""""""""""
11 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1905: Thanks for the support from your unit in Con. Now that Italy is gone, what would you suggest that we can do best from here?
11 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1905: Your army in ARM could be convoyed to RUM (so long as Austria knows and doesn't think it's a stab) to get it into the fight quicker. SMY could move to ANK and then convoy next turn. Scandinavia is a little more tricky. I think that this turn I would use MUN, BER, and BAL to attack KIE and then hit SWE from FIN with support from NWY (supporting a hold in NWY from StP). Both attacks will probably fail but it will give you an idea of what England plans to do with BAR.

SWE could be taken if you attacked from NWY with support from FIN and BAL. However NWY would be left open for BAR to walk in. And, if you ordered StP to NWY to block that move, BAR would walk into StP. Also a problem is the fact that SWE is a fleet and could retreat to BOT (and probably would, given England's disposition).

Luckily, Austria is moving towards the Atlantic and France has that pesky fleet on English soil. By the end of this year, progress into English territory will be much easier.

Another thought. If you'd rather march your armies the long way around, I could move CON to ANK and let you move through the straights into the Med (I'd move back to CON in the fall). That would put your fleet in a place where it could be more helpful.
11 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1905: 'BOTH' of you ,look to me very 'funny".Yes, you persuaded me ,that you are two honest cooperating players
12 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1905: Oh. Oops. We've been posting that on global chat. Well that sucks! :)
12 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1905: I think it best that we continue building our huge convoy chain to the English Isle, where we can all vacation in "The Land of the Bonzai Warrior."
12 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1905: Be carefull, because the polite masks are falling down and the real faces are appearing
12 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 1905: From your continued personal attack messages, England, it appears that your mask has already fallen off. I believe that England's is now the classic example of the word 'hypocrite.'
16 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: Sorry everyone, I was dead to the world for 3 weeks. Guess I'm dead in this game too :D
06 Oct 10 UTC Spring, 1909: Do we actually have to wait for seven days now when we know that France has abandoned his position?
06 Oct 10 UTC Spring, 1909: I am afraid so. On the bright side, we can eliminate both Germany and France, leaving the three of us to draw. If you support me into Edi that gives me 16 scs. You take Paris giving you 17. Turkey has one. Then we put in for the draw. We are almost there.

06 Oct 10 UTC Spring, 1909: It bares repeating:)
06 Oct 10 UTC Spring, 1909: :)
22 Oct 10 UTC Spring, 1910: Und jetzt ist das Ende nahe, und so stelle ich, der abschließende Vorhang gegenüber. Meine Feinde, I' ll machen es deutlich, I' ll Zustand mein Fall, von dem I' m sicher…

Ich glaube sehr im Augenblick schikaniert. Aber I' ll erhalten über ihm. It' s nur ein Spiel.
23 Oct 10 UTC Spring, 1910: I'm confused. If all four of us remaining have submitted our moves as ready for the phase, why has it not adjudicated and moved to the next phase now?
23 Oct 10 UTC Spring, 1910: There was an issue with the site that has since been resolved.
23 Oct 10 UTC Spring, 1910: Obviously my diplomatic skills weren't up to splitting your alliance in the end. It was worth a try. Nothing else was going to work. Oh well. Good game anyway.
23 Oct 10 UTC Autumn, 1910: Thanks. you put up a good fight. Better luck next time.
23 Oct 10 UTC Autumn, 1910: Except for pulling my fleets into port so they can celebrate my units are holding.
24 Oct 10 UTC Autumn, 1910: You did a great job, Germany. Thanks for a good game to the end.
24 Oct 10 UTC Autumn, 1910: Ditto what Austria and Russia said. Good game.
24 Oct 10 UTC Autumn, 1910: Constantinople DOESN'T hold. HA! Bet none of you saw THAT coming. Turkey will rise again!! :)
24 Oct 10 UTC @Turkey - you're gonna die!
25 Oct 10 UTC Great game, gents. Just waiting on Russia's draw vote and then we can see who everyone is.
25 Oct 10 UTC I am posting my draw vote now, since I took the Sabbath off. Great game and thanks to all who made it so.
