02 May 20 UTC Spring, 1904: Apologies all - that was me. I've gone Ready now
12 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: Gentlemen, while a 6 person draw is a rather anticlimactic end to a game that has had its share of twists and turns, I don't see much movement from here. I've voted to draw but I'll soldier on if one of you still thinks he can advance.
12 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: I've cast my vote as well. That last move helped convince me. Very clever down in the Mediterranean, France, I didn't see that coming.
12 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: I have to say, I'm not a fan of leaving captive nations in a draw unless they're a meaningful part of the stalemate. On the other hand, it's not gonna change the math much either way, so if y'all want to keep him around, I'm good with it.
12 May 20 UTC And thanks - you put me in a tough spot and I'm pretty sure that, with enough time, you might be able to break through into Western Med, but I *think* I could keep you from getting any more centers.

Really really surprised Russia and Turkey didn't just dismantle Austria a couple turns ago. I took they could have done it and still gotten back to a stalemate line, but it would have been close.
12 May 20 UTC Was an interesting game. I thought the battle in the south would have continued for a while
12 May 20 UTC GG guys, happy that you let me get 1 point :)
12 May 20 UTC So I had to do a bit of guessing, but it was going to look like this: Eventually Turkey/Austria would get all four fleets into Pied/Tuscany/Tyrr/Tunis. I'd have four fleets in Marseilles/Spain/GoL/Western Med. Then it's just a constant guessing game - either T/A put three strength of attack on GoL, or put two strength of attack on WMed and GoL. I'll have Marseilles hold GoL and GoL hold Western Med, but then I have to guess about which one to hold with Spain. Guess right and the round stalls, guess wrong and they break through. I can do some fancy tricks (like counter-attacking into Tunis with Western Med) but if I mess up, then it's very likely they get through, grab an SC or get into the MAO, and then we're toast.

I appreciate T/A not trying to draw the game out like that :)
12 May 20 UTC I'm still so bitter that the turn I *finally* take on England is the same turn where Russia got Austria to full-charge towards my German centers. If either of those is delayed by a *single* turn, I think I had a shot at a solo.

Still, excellent game all! Look forward to playing against you soon.
12 May 20 UTC So the answer is you shouldn't have stabbed England ;D (so early)
12 May 20 UTC Good game - well played France - we were heading to lose but we just managed to organise ourselves in time to fight back.
13 May 20 UTC Agreed on all points. It was a pleasure. Gg.
