16 Jan 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Just realized the host thinks Peru is in Africa. |
16 Jan 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Yeah, that's kinda wrong |
16 Jan 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: And I'm a geography nerd, so.....I'm not in Africa |
16 Jan 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Geography nerds can't go to Africa? |
16 Jan 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: No.....but Peru is not in Africa |

16 Jan 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: I'm trying to do a comedy of errors here... |
17 Jan 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: hi guys! do the 2 way arrows mean armies can cross those bodies of water? |
17 Jan 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Armies cannot cross water, only navies can. Armies can cross water if you convoy them. |
17 Jan 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: then what are the arrows on the great lakes and north quebec? |
17 Jan 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Lake Michigan and Lake Huron are the only great lakes that fleets canove directly between. The arrows are probably supposed to be visual indicators of that. |
17 Jan 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Oh, maybe you can go from superior to Huron in the web dip version. That would mean that the arrows are indeed there to indicate land bridges that armies can use. |
17 Jan 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Panama Chicago Ontario Michigan and upper peninsula have canals so you can move fleets through them without separate coasts. NYC and NYS have a canal through them. Fleets can move along the two major rivers like they are coastline. Though, my source isn't exactly the same as this map, so don't take that as gospel. |
17 Jan 20 UTC | Spring, 1999: Mexico ready up dangit! |
17 Jan 20 UTC | Autumn, 1999: The arrows mean that there is a bridge that armies can cross |
17 Jan 20 UTC | Autumn, 1999: thanks. Thats what I assumed mad southwest - mexico machinations! |
17 Jan 20 UTC | Autumn, 1999: First these guys in Texas want to build the wall and then they just cross the border like nothing, makes no sense to me |
17 Jan 20 UTC | Autumn, 1999: Maybe they are collecting your payment for the wall? |
18 Jan 20 UTC | Autumn, 1999: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders. |
