22 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: There are three kinds of people: those who can count and those who can't. ;-)
Good luck all. And remember, have fun!
22 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Greetings England - I hope all is well. When France and England ally from the start, they make a formidable team. Rather than fight each other, we use our units to support each other, leap-frogging over our opposition. That would mean keeping the English Channel forever empty. Holland for you, Belgium for me. What do you say?
22 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: You do know you sent that into global chat right france?
22 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Italy, thank you for letting me know. Accidents do happen. And its not untrue. That said, I am open to all offers of mutual assistance/alliances.
24 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
25 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
25 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Hello! New Germany here!
28 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: Goku720 was banned: meta/no reply. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
28 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: Hello to you all ! I just received the Austrian Throne and hope I can develop good relationships with all my friendly neighbors !
28 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: Welcome. Best of luck. And thank you for taking over. I believe that I speak for all of us when I say that it is really appreciated.
03 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1902: In need of a seventh in a live gunboat game to replace Russia prior to Spring 1901.
04 Dec 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: Very strong alliance from France and Germany looking to take out of the game Italy, England and Austria. I think Russia and Turkey should come to our help before it is too late
04 Dec 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: Right now France and Germany are at (5+5) 10 sc and Franca can take whenever 2 sc of Portugal and Spain + Germany will soon have Sweden (total 13)...
04 Dec 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: Thats facts lol
04 Dec 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: Well when London and Liverpool will be French that’ll still be facts...
11 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1903: And since so many of us seem to have shifted to global chat, Italy, extremely well played re taking Venice. It is a shame about Rome though. From my perspective though, the Adriatic humidity and all those beautiful yet mouldy buildings were wreaking havoc with my sinuses. And it seems likely that if France loses Rome, she will simply retreat into Naples. Quite a confusing conundrum.
11 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1903: And Austria, while your observations seem superficially accurate, and it is true that Germany has thus far never invaded French territory and France has never invaded Germany territory, correct me if I've misread the map but did Austria not just support German forces eastwards - my guess would be so that Germany could better engage her eastern neighbour. Generally, one tends to lend military assistance to allies. Are Austria and Germany allied? Inquiring minds want to know.
11 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1903: If Austria is allied with Germany, and Germany is allied France, would it then not be logical to assume that Austria too is allied with France. And if that is indeed the case, why am I always the last to know?
11 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1903: France (5) + Germany (6) + Austria (4) = 15
Italy (3) + England (4) + Russia (5) + Turkey (5) = 17
11 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1903: If, on the other hand, I'm mistaken, and Austria's allegiance is elsewhere, perhaps Russia and Turkey, as the dominant partners, have already won.
11 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1903: France (5) + Germany (6) = 11
Italy (3) + England (4) + Russia (5) + Turkey (5) + Austria (4) = 21 VICTORY !!!
11 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1903: All this math is making me dizzy.
18 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1904: Autumn 1901 replacement for England needed for https://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=261106.
22 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1905: As we approach the close of the calendar year, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my warmest wishes for a healthy, happy, safe, and prosperous holiday season and new year to one and all, and to all of your loved ones too. Win, lose or draw, I would like to thank each and every one of you for the hours of pleasure you provide by playing Diplomacy with/against me. G-d bless us all.

01 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: Please be aware that I am in Toronto with family for the day, after which I will be driving from Toronto back to Montreal. The likelihood of me receiving your messages/pleas for succour/requests for sage advice and insightful 2021 stock market picks risk not be read any time soon. We regret any inconvenience this might cause but the real world trumps all.
01 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: The Real Trump worlds all ?
02 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: I have no idea what that means. And can we please agree to keep real world politics out of our chatter? I'm sure many of use would be most gratified.
02 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: That was just a joke about his twitter account, just a play on worlds. Nothing to do with politics...

11 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: Greetings all. The holidays have come and gone and real world responsibilities press in from all sides. Time is once again a precious commodity. You will see that I've already pressed DRAW. I respectfully request that once the minimum DRAW threshold has been attained that the top rung players agree to wrap up this game. I look forward to playing with and against all of you again in December 2020.
