02 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1902: Looks like thst
02 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1902: The bots are smart, so expect Norway to be stacked with that northern fleet
02 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1902: Yeah I’ll need to do some home stuff - prob won’t be back until about 8
02 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1902: Btw check out my solo game - I’m Russia https://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=245686&nocache=282

The Austrian & Turkish bot worked together to block me from Rum
02 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1902: That's cool, Germany didn't bounce you in Sweden. Is love to see the logic tree behind that!
02 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1902: I'd**
02 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1902: So I’m thinking I need to support Norway but that means only EC will help with convoying Belgium. Is that ok with you?
02 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1902: Rereading your earlier post re: Norway, I'm just going to hold that. Hopefully the Germany bot sends Kiel into the Baltic.
02 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: These bots are pretty clever. Bastard German bot sent his fleet into Hel while he cut Bur so he could get Belgium.

And you're right on the Lepanto ;-)
02 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: Ok, I'm thinking our best course of action is to fuck with the bots AI post early game. That's when they'll have less data to call on for decisions.

So I reckon NTS hold Norway, EC hold NTS.

As Italy is doing his Lepanto thing and your border with Italy is secure, how about Bur to Ruhr, Gas to Bur supported by Pic and Mar. With an army in Ruhr we can work out where to turn it.

Hopefully the A/T bots make some traction against Russia causing him to collapse.
02 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: I'll try it, I reckon Germany not will try to bounce me in Ruhr though. I'll bring MAO up north to NAO
02 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: Ok.
02 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Fucking bots.
02 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Haha!
02 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1903: NAO is moving to NWG.
Do you think Kiel will support Munich to hold?
02 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Probably.
02 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1903: fuck these bots are good.
02 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Let me know how you want the next set of orders to go.
03 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1903: That was my fuck up with the supports. Amazing how much you get accustomed to with the interactive map!!!
03 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1903: NWG can support NTH to hold, reckon ENG could support Ruhr to Bel?
03 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1903: Ok we’ll do that.

I’m the same re interactive map. Wonder why webDip doesn’t do that.

As a result of playing these bot games I actually think we’ll have better questions for take 2 of the interview.
03 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1903: Fucking bots.

How’s your solo bot game going?
03 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1903: At least Belgium worked out. Rebuilding a fleet in London
04 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1904: Ha! My game is looking like a dog's breakfast!

This will be interesting to see if Russia goes after Germany or not. I can support you into NTH (let me know Edi or Lon). Can ENG please support Bel to hold?
04 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1904: Yep happy to support hold Belgium with EC.

I’ll attack NTS from Edi. That way if NTS retreats to York & trues later to grab Edi you can bounce him.

Yeah with Denmark open I expect there’s a fair chance he could stab. But as he’s bogged down fighting Austria and Turkey already he may not.
04 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1904: I’ve saved those orders. Let me know when you I’m good to ready up.
04 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1904: Oki doki, orders are ready
04 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Ha ha, German bot didn't trust Russian bot!
04 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: What happened with your Marseilles order?

Oh oh, Italy looks like he's up to no good now. And looks like Russia is going to push for Norwegian Sea.
04 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Norwegian Sea to Norway with NTS support?

Lon to hold NTS, EC to hold Belgium?
04 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Or do we try something crazy like NTS to Skag, try to back fill with Lon and if you get dislodged go to Edi?
04 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: NTS to Holland and EC to support Bel to hold perhaps?

And fuck these dropdown boxes, I'm totally out of practice with them!
04 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Me too. Ok let's try that then. I've set my orders to reflect that.
04 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: I can retreat to Clyde and bounce you in Edi, might be better than retreating to Edi
04 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Or I can dispand

I'd like to get a fleet south to assist against Italy... I was sure Russia would turn on Germany, or Austria on Italy by now...
04 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Also remember what JMO said about throwing support to the bots... Perhaps we can confuse them a little somehow?
04 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: I'm thinking a defensive posture for now, I definately made the mistake thinking of the bots as newbie players, if we can hold the line they might be more inclined to turn on each other...
04 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Ok, no probs - go for Clyde then.
04 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Or if you need to swing down to NAO to stop Italy that is cool. We’ll start sending them love.
05 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: I'm thinking a defensive posture for now, I definately made the mistake thinking of the bots as newbie players, if we can hold the line they might be more inclined to turn on each other...
05 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1905: Ok. I’m thinking NTS to Edi, Lon to NTS, but I’ll need to support that with EC. That ok?
06 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1905: That's fine
06 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Well we survived that... until Germany's 3 fleets heads to NTS.

Looks like you've saved yourself in time from Italy.

BTW, the re-record of the interview is scheduled for 11:30 am this Sunday our time. You can make it then?
06 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: (Lon to NTS, supported by Edi and EC too I've saved and readied up. Let me know if you want anything changed)
06 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Ok cool, 11:30 Sunday it is. ( I just sent a question regarding this on vDip).

Not sure I'm out of the woods yet vis-a-vis Italy. There's a good chance he'll take a sc this season, or end up in MAO... I need to cogitate a little then trust pure luck I suppose
06 Sep 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Fuckit
06 Sep 19 UTC Mate we’re both fucked now
07 Sep 19 UTC I must admit I'm stumped at this point. Its all downhill from here for me. Liverpool is gone and there's not much opportunity to get anything else. And if I plan to retake Liverpool in autumn, I'd probably lose Edi to Germany :-(

If you have any magic fairy dust advice or strategy I'm all ears.
08 Sep 19 UTC I'm good to pause this game.
08 Sep 19 UTC Me too.
