30 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
30 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: Oh, FFS
30 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: I am starting to hate this auto-extend thingummy
30 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: yeah, I usually join matches with zero excuses only.
30 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: hear, hear.
31 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: So it's like Brexit - everyone's waiting for England to leave...
31 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: Ouch... Good one haha
31 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: Yeah, ouch
31 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
31 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: Oh FFS
31 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: Part Deux
31 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: Another 24 hours
31 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: That was a quick takeover, much faster than the replacement we had last week ;-) Hopefully with a better outcome!
31 Jul 19 UTC Spring, 1905: This is my last game with excused missed turns. Next they'll be supplying diapers.
01 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1905: Thanks for stepping in Acgv
03 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Wow. That game has to be the most long-term balanced SC-wise I have seen so far.
04 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1906: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
04 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1906: My apologies, I was preoccupied with family business and completely forgot about the orders.
04 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1906: Damn RL!
04 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1906: My last NMR was a few years ago. At 8:30pm, when I suddenly recalled that I hadn't submitted the orders, my face got frozen, and my wife thought something terrible had happened. I uttered
- I forgot...
- What? what?!
- The orders...
- Your pathetic game! Fxxx you, I thought you'd left the iron.
04 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1906: I've readied now.
04 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1906: RR down to 86...
04 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1906: :-)
04 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1906: You have to get her hooked on something.

Many years' ago the kids used to play Animal Crossing, which Mrs 61 sneered at a little. Then, one evening, she greeted me at the front door with the controller in her hand; I laughed, a lot.

She is still playing, and you should hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth if she misses an important event in her village.
05 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1906: How dare Italy and Turkey pay me back in kind for my sneakiness!
05 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1906: As they say: sow the wind, reap the whirlwind.
05 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1906: good one. I like "you made your bed, now lie in it."
05 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1906: "Karma's a bitch"
05 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1906: lol
05 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1906: Germany got to the point using fewer words!
06 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: [Bows]
07 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
07 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: The game is turning into a high profile one ;-)
07 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: In what way?
07 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Russia the Veteran
07 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Ah, I see

One of the reasons I usually play Anon is to delay how soon I realise I am going to get beaten
10 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: Congratulations Italy and Turkey, but please remember it was my bonehead move into Rumania on turn one that did me in from the start. Oh well. Sometimes experiments fail.
10 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: I kindly disagree. Had the experiment really failed, you would have been eliminated in 1903 the latest. The situation was amendable. The nail to your coffin was what happened after you stabbed me (new Turkey).
10 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: Ah yes, it's always all about you, is it not. I'm kidding. You must be right. For the universe to be in balance, you have to be.
10 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: Er, it ain't over yet.
10 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: But congrats to Austria for his, er, outstanding performance.
10 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: I am truly at pains to understand this sarcasm. I was not talking about myself; I am not feeling victorious. I was talking about bare facts.
The cause of your fall was not the 'experiment' involving the move into RUM at the very beginning, but the way you were conducting diplomacy. By 1903, you managed to somewhat recover with 3 centres. By 1904, you've reconsolidated the territories (yes, my ego forces me to mention that it was with my help). But in 1905, instead of capitalising the chance to form an alliance, you began feeling imperialistic, and attacked your only ally (my ego yet again raises its ugly head) in an unprovoked manner. I am sorry if I'll be sounding condescending, but I hope we all can learn from your example. Having an ally is everything in this game, especially at the beginning, and specifically when playing as Austria. But maybe this play style was the subject of the experiment? Well, than yes, it has failed tremendously. But I'm surprised that you, as a player with over 100 matches under your belt, were unsure about the possible outcome that had to be put to a test.
11 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1908: k
17 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 1909: So much love for Russia from England and Turkey ;-)
27 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 1913: I am sure I won't be speaking only for myself when I say that we've reached the stage where the only way to progress is to press the 'draw button'. In the Basin, we've been witnessing a pulsating naval tug o' war, and in the centre, we've established a stalemate line to that degree that I've begun using a template for order submission, and England got so bored that they set on course to America.
29 Aug 19 UTC GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
