20 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Mother Russia Welcomes All! Good Luck Comrades, The Vodka's on ME
20 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1901: The German empire welcomes all, I shall provide the beer.
20 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1901: I spit on your beer, ptuey. Truely cultured people drink wine!
20 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Italy would like to welcome everybody as well, and since russia and germany are bringing the alcohol I will bring the pasta and marinara.
20 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Sounds like a good party so the Austrians will bring the dancing women. They are aged like the fine wine of France and as smooth as the Vodka from Russia. After a few beers from Germany it won't matter.
21 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1901: England shall provide some fish and chips for the table, and plenty of Irish to drink your spirits!
21 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Turkey wants to join in the feast and will provide the harem of many women
21 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Very well, if we must have a party, we will bring some snails.
21 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Great. It's all set. Now we just need to decide upon where to hold this celebration! Everybody converge on Switzerland!
21 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1901: I think belgium, I heard the bud is good.
22 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1902: Of course, once the game gets underway, the Global chat grinds to a halt. Is everybody too busy scheming to make time for pleasantries? Or perhaps everybody is watching Austria's armies meander too far from home and wondering where he'll end up.
22 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1902: Pleasantries, you who are gunning for me want me to open my doors and say hello welcome to my country would you like come in and sit down. How have you been?, me? oh not to bad I am having a problem with my English maybe you could help by moving in. I just thought of something great, maybe we could meet in my summer home in Denmark and go Bootfahrt in the Baltic!
22 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1902: Okay, sounds great! Provided that France doesn't visit ME in the meantime, we'll meet up at your place!
23 Mar 10 UTC I am having a hard time keeping up with the 14 hour time. i work nights so i sleep during the day in the afternoon. i had no problem with the 18 hour time limit. i was wondering if we can change the time to back to 18 hours.
24 Mar 10 UTC So, are we continuing this, or are we going to declare a draw and try again with new settings?
24 Mar 10 UTC I am all for a new setting. Yes I know I am about to get wiped by the England (but hey that's the game) but it is not fair to Italy if he can't make the time zone.
24 Mar 10 UTC Voted to draw
24 Mar 10 UTC Okay so now we know how long we should put the time. So next time make sure who ever puts the settings together that it is 18 hours. If you can't play this game we can draw or those that can't just don't move. We will take care of the rest.
24 Mar 10 UTC I'm good with whatever. I should point out, though, that Russia ALSO seems to not be good with the time frame. He doesn't seem to have moved in the last 15 or so hours.
24 Mar 10 UTC I am for changing on next game. Italy has concerns, but he has not missed a move yet. It appears that Russia is the issue. I feel we should finish this game and change the settings next time.

My vote is for 14 hours. After the seasonal move there is a 14 hour window for retreats/builds. That leaves enough time to react to each seasonal move.
24 Mar 10 UTC Either way works for me
24 Mar 10 UTC Either way works for me
24 Mar 10 UTC Thanks for the understanding. Sorry for all the problems.
24 Mar 10 UTC Well, if this game is over, then I'm curious as to who was who in the last game. For example, I'm the previous game's Austria. This time ... with a decent start!
24 Mar 10 UTC Oh, and if we're doing another game, could we set it up before this one is closed? That way we can get the game name and password all at once in a convenient location, which should make for a smoother transition.
24 Mar 10 UTC Ok, I was hoping to get the draw first so we could all get our ante back. I'm going to start up Diplomtic States III. Password the same, Burke.
24 Mar 10 UTC By the, it's case sensitive. Use a capital B in the password.
