25 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Let's all team up against Jaimie. I suspext that hr is Germany, England or Italy.
25 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Well I'm not Spartacus
25 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Using the tried and tested legal principle, ehay owhay eltsmay ityay ealtday ityay, clearly Jamie is France
25 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: I should warn you that I've been practising being evil in preparation for this game. This morning, for instance, I met a puppy and didn't pet it for very long! That is how evil I can be!

Teheeheeheehe!
25 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Sorry... I'll try that again...

That's how evil I can be!

Mwahahahaha!
25 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Lol. That was grand.
25 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Btw , who is jaimie?
25 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: I hear that England hates puppies. I have not seen his hatred first hand but Germany told me about it
25 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Nein, nichts. Ich spreche, I said, England hates frogs. [Clears throat]

Limey Rhimes with Jaimie, so....or was that heine, I dont recall what Russia told me.
25 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: But soft! what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Jamiet is the sun!
25 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: How do you resist the temptation to pet a puppy?????
26 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Jamie is either Austria or Italy. Willing to bet.
26 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Ah, that takes a lot of effort, but the easiest way I've found is to try very hard to convince yourself it's a cat or, failing that, a Frenchman.
26 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: *No disrespect to France intended
26 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Except that there is, for I am evil!

Mwahahahaha!
27 Mar 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: Bit of a setback on the evil front.

I thought I was having great success evilly doing the washing up, until the other half pointed out that I was actually washing up badly, which is quite different. Washing up evilly apparently evolves breaking cutlery, being careless with knives, and a drowned kitten, whereas washing up badly is just unhygienic.
27 Mar 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: dude, you slay me.
03 Apr 19 UTC Spring, 1903: The dead swans lay in the stagnant pool.
They lay. They rotted. They turned
Around occasionally.
Bits of flesh dropped off them from
Time to time.:And sank into the pool's mire.
They also smelt a great deal.
03 Apr 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Mwahahaha! Evil poetry!
03 Apr 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Beautiful
03 Apr 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Allright, i want you al to vote...

Should i go out Saturday night with friends? Or should i stay at home?
03 Apr 19 UTC Spring, 1903: That's just what they'd expect you to to. Regain the element of surprise and go out with people you don't like.
05 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1903: I must say, I have not enjoyed this game. I blame Jaimie
05 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1903: Don't blame it on the sunshine
Don't blame it on the moonlight
Don't blame it on good times
Blame it on the Jamie.
06 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1903: Lol
06 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1903: Definitely blame it on Jaimie.
06 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1903: Jiaimiei
16 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Can we actually fight this juggernaut please?
18 Apr 19 UTC Spring, 1906: Apologies for being a tad quiet lately. Work's been a swine the last couple of weeks.

Well played, AH. To quote the ancient song:

Oh, Hungary! Oh, Hungary!
Oh, doughty sons of Hungary!
May all success attend and bless
Your warlike ironmongery!
26 Apr 19 UTC Oh well GG
26 Apr 19 UTC It was certainly interesting. Being stabbed by both allies stings a tad, though. The old Octavian charm is clearly not what it used to be :p.

I confess I've literally no idea what Turkey was up to, unless he is a strong believer that draws should be as inclusive as possible. Still, a fair result.

My apologies to Italy. There was a key moment where there was a clear choice between you and Turkey as preferred ally, and somewhat foolishly I said Germany could call it assuming he would opt for you. Bugger :p. Still, lessons learned and all that.
26 Apr 19 UTC At least I was right with my bet that J was I or AH
26 Apr 19 UTC I really enjoyed this game! Thank you!
26 Apr 19 UTC If this was SumofSquares I suspect it may have gone on longer. I do not like 5 person draws but had I forced it forward, I would potentially have been on the chopping block
26 Apr 19 UTC You think so? For that to happen I would have had to fall back a lot in the north, and favour Germany in the process. Even then it would have been tricky as you'd have likely taken a couple of Italian centres. A GRT alliance with Germany dominating the north, a weak Russia, and NMR prone Italy? Not my preferred route to the end game, I have to admit.
26 Apr 19 UTC Nice game. Not often in a 5 way, but I was the middle and Russia had me outflanked. Thanks to all.
26 Apr 19 UTC Lol! It's always amusing how perspectives change from player to player. From my seat I had no allies, was outnumbered 2-1 by nations actively fighting me, and was probably the easiest player to remove aside from Italy if people were so inclined.

If I was going to make a criticism of what was generally a very well played German game it would be this. Don't be reluctant to engage in a bit more ally management. If me building another fleet in St Petersburg will cause you problems, by all means tell me not to do it. There are plenty of numpties out there who will let you get away with murder in this game, and I am more than happy to position myself for murder if I think I can get away with it. But I will also respect an ally making reasonable demands. Your stab was effective in bringing a halt to any solo ambitions I may have been entertaining, but I reckon the need for it and the large draw fallout could have been avoided.
26 Apr 19 UTC Passive Turkey's in a Juggernaut always make for a relatively threatening Russia.
