17 Feb 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Hey everyone,

So the basic idea in the first year (spring and fall 1901) is to grab up neutral supply centers. Some of these are really obvious who will grab them, but some are really up for grabs. This is probably what most of the negotiations will be about in the first year, among whatever else you want to talk about.

Let me know if you have basic questions, I can help answer from the limited research that I have done.
19 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: Hello,

So I think Russia has been forced to resign, that is too bad, though I dont know for sure if thats how it works. I dont know if she can jump back in or not. Her armies will just hold every turn that is not played.

Also, we have 24 hours for the building phase (which is just creating new armies/fleets in home supply centers). Since this is a pretty basic phase with not a lot of negotiation needed, if we can all hit Ready, then I think we will automatically move on to Spring 1902 before the 24 hours is up.

So I think that Austria/France/Turkey all ran into the same issue (which I was not aware of either). I think to grab the neutral supply center you have to finish on that spot in Autumn/Fall. After you have claimed it that year, then you can leave that spot, and whoever controls it last will have control over that supply center. Let me know if you think differently or if I am missing something.
