31 Mar 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Fyi, I'm leaving on holiday monday evening till April 17th, so if you could all pause the game by sunday/monday, I'd be very grateful.
31 Mar 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: No problem here.
31 Mar 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Why don't we draw it instead.
01 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1906: Because the game is far from over?
02 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1906: I suspect turkey is a bit of a comedian.
03 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: As a reminder, I will check in for the last time in a while on monday around 15-16pm (GMT +1, Brussels). I hope all of you will vote for pause then. Once paused, you can all vote unpause, then I can immediatly unpause the game when I'm back. Thanks in advance.
17 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: Greetings, due to the vulcano eruption in Iceland, I'm stuck in Manila till at least 28th of april. So I won't be able to unpause earlier, sorry.
17 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: Lets draw this game.
19 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: No problem. Do we all agree that I win?
19 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: Agreed. :)
19 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: That's not as satisfying as I thought it would be.
20 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: i dont mind waiting, its all the same to me
20 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: I dont mind, either.
20 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: I'll be going on an extended vacation starting May 3rd, not sure if i'll have access to the internet or not depends on the village (apparently not all of Africa is wi-fi enabled). I'm not exactly sure how long I will be there - we're building 30 houses and a school in Kenya. So I was hoping to get this game over before departing.
20 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: And I'm hoping that Africa will one day be wi-fi enabled so they, too, can experience the wealth if information and knowledge available on the internet. Here's to "hope" no matter how it juxtaposes with reality! Cheers!
20 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: Germany, you take the north half of turkey's empire and I'll take the south half.
20 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: Lol. Nice try but I'm not going to unpause until I'm back.
20 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: Ah! A filibuster! Touché!
26 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: Finally the ashcloud has disappeared and I was able to catch a flight home. There's still time till the 3rd of may, so let's play. Thanks for waiting, and sorry for the inconvenience.
26 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: Do I have assurances that a pause will be granted prior to my departure?
26 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: Affirmative from my side.
26 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: finalize and i will unpause when i have assurances from the others...
26 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: i'm assuming it won't be an issue .
27 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: Agreed.
30 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1908: I've been delayed a week until May 10th so lets keep going.
04 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: Germany/Italy if you would please put in your pause votes when I'm ready to leave I will vote for the pause as well.

Thanks!
06 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: I'll be leaving on Sunday so would like to get another round of moves in before then so I can pause -- or you can draw if you're ready.
07 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: Delayed again - some problem with visa's looks like I might be here for another week. Good thing my employer is flexible...
10 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: Delayed yet again... looks like I may not be going at all.
10 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: Just let us know when to unpause.
10 May 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: OK.
11 May 10 UTC Spring, 1910: You can unpause... just got word officially cancelled.
11 May 10 UTC Spring, 1910: Apparently volcanic ash clouds are preventing travel to Africa and today was the cutoff date for go/no go decision.
14 May 10 UTC Spring, 1910: Germany, I must say i am disappointed with you. Judging from your experience I would have expected you to put up some kind of resistance. Pitiful, really, really, pitiful. This game was getting interesting too.
