23 Jun 18 UTC Lol, claeser, such a loser, as always, I was just setting up a smaller draw, I never laid a finger on you, and wasn't going to. I've seen him throw games before, a true professional loser. We had the stalemate line locked in stone. Loser boy.
23 Jun 18 UTC A member for THREE years and only 750 points = seasoned, veteran, loser...
23 Jun 18 UTC Didn't notice the FIVE turns of support orders I was given you?
23 Jun 18 UTC All you had to do was hold your front, let me kill england, and, merry Christmas, 250 points to you, a 25% increase in your meager point count...
23 Jun 18 UTC Why do you hate me Tugster?
23 Jun 18 UTC I didn't know it was you sweet....
23 Jun 18 UTC But then you did support hold STP in an attempt to have the Draw but alas to no avail.
23 Jun 18 UTC Just going for points man...
23 Jun 18 UTC I put in orders this last turn that would have retaken Munich, but claesar is an EXPERT at losing.. talk about snatching a loss out of an OBVIOUS draw, my god...
23 Jun 18 UTC Gift to the zero bet turkey...
23 Jun 18 UTC Good game everyone - the main page on WebDiplomacy says that luck plays "no part" in Diplomacy, but I think that this game is as close as I'm going to get.

France, thank goodness you weren't directly on my border. You were totally aware of my every move and I had the tie up until about 16 hours ago.

It's an honor to play with such seasoned players and thanks to whoever set this up for me.
23 Jun 18 UTC I've played a long time turkey... since little wooden blocks on a board... congrats on a nice jolt of points for a new guy. I wonder why the first turkey left?
23 Jun 18 UTC Also, props to England. Although we didn't fight much that move you had by the end was pretty unique.

(bear in mind that I joined this website 2 months ago and am NOT a seasoned player.)
Well played all.
23 Jun 18 UTC Sorry I didn't see your message, France. I know someone on the site and got jealous when they reached 115 - you have no idea what happens when you find a game.

There's another game that I'm spectating with a pot of 1400 - 2 people have gone under disorder and have found replacement players. Not sure what's going on and whoever set this up for me left behind quite the game to play.
23 Jun 18 UTC The most ridiculous thing about what Germany just did, is that he could have waited to see what I was going to do, and had I attacked him, he could have thrown the game later. Just hold the line, watch me kill England, vote draw and see if the draw holds. Then, if there was no draw, and if France had attacked Germany, then he could have tossed the game then, there was no reason to do it now, and in such a hurry, other than the fact that it's been well documented and proven that Claeser likes to lose...

If at any moment I laid a finger on Sweden or Holland, then he tosses the game, and rightly so, but I wasn't going to do that, I was just going to calmly kill England and take a three way draw, 250 points in the bank for France, Germany and Turkey.

He must get some sort of warped pleasure by playing like a crybaby
23 Jun 18 UTC I was expecting to slam my militaries into central Germany for years yet. I was totally thrilled to see the news.

The coordination though on almost all fronts is pretty incredible. I usually am sitting in 5-bet games and you see none of that. It's truly a next-level game here.
23 Jun 18 UTC Turkey, if you want a mentor, I could do that, just don't do it with Claesar! lol
23 Jun 18 UTC I'm putting in an application now.
23 Jun 18 UTC Thanks for your input @France . I just added a response to the form
23 Jun 18 UTC great.
23 Jun 18 UTC gg Turkey. I had to choose whom I would give the solo, because France would've had one soon. If not, I would've been eliminated as he obviously indicated in many ways to me. I made the logical choice.

Tugster, you'll achieve better results if you read the map. I don't care if you're a better player than me, the fact is that I decided to throw as a direct result of your behaviour. There will be others like me, and therefore your results will be less good than they should be.

1) In 1911, England was already showing you he could throw. I presume he did so because you were already making it obvious that you'd eliminate him. In the end he

2) For many years I had been just barely allowing you to support me to keep Turkey out of Germany. I was intentionally not supporting myself enough, to force you to do so. Apparently you didn't notice how elaborate I was doing this. Surely you could've noticed my signals towards Belgium though? I even took it at some point, after which you risked losing Munich to Turkey just to get it back (Autumn 1910). I showed that I needed it to feel secure, but you didn't care because you were going to eliminate me when the time was right.

All your moves clearly indicated to me that you'd eliminate me right after England. You say you "wasn't going to", but there was and is no reason for me to believe it.

I know you think I'm a loser, but I was the loser you had to work with in this game. You however ignored every single one of my signals. I drew my logical conclusion from your moves.
My tip to you is: If you don't want smaller powers to throw, don't threaten their existence. Make a choice about who you want to keep in a draw, and then ACT LIKE IT.

I will read and consider every tip you have for me as well. I know you're a good player. No one's without flaws.
23 Jun 18 UTC We definitely could have played to 1923 and allowed France to win. I should have thought of taking Munich in August 1910 but the idea quite frankly never crossed my mind.
23 Jun 18 UTC It's ridiculous Germany, there was zero chance I could solo, I was just narrowing the draw.
23 Jun 18 UTC And no, there are not other players like you, just you, you are the only one that does this. And that's why your score is so low. Losing is your preferred tactic. In this case, you should have given away only Munich, and held onto Berlin. That would have put turkey at 17, not 16, and then if I touch any of your SC, you THEN give away Berlin, obviously I cannot reach Berlin without first going through Denmark, so this tactic would have made it absolutely impossible for me to solo and you could have threatened to throw without actually throwing, and you would have earned 250 points in a three way draw!

So, if threatening to lose is your preferred tactic, at least get better at it man!
23 Jun 18 UTC now, let's see if you're such a baby that you will be unable to admit that what I explained above would have been a better threaten to throw plan.
23 Jun 18 UTC Geez! Life is too short guys. Give it a rest.
23 Jun 18 UTC I was already threatening to throw for several turns. You didn't get the message. You still don't get it. That's alright though.
23 Jun 18 UTC see, cannot admit you could have given away only Munich and held Berlin as the final threat, of course not, to both threaten to throw and maintain the chance to not throw. That's the difference, that's why you have 700 points after three years, you give away points needlessly.
23 Jun 18 UTC We've both said what we wanted to say. See you in the next game. Don't make it obvious you'll eliminate me ;)
