12 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Hey, good luck everyone!
12 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Hey everyone, I just realised the game started. I'll be checking press all day. Sorry about that!
13 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: Hey guys just dropping in to say that I’m going to be driving most of the day today for mother’s day but will get to everyone ASAP
13 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: happy mothers' day all!
15 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: Very annoying that Turkey has seemingly given up
15 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1901: No, I've just made a very big mistake or as Italy puts it, "a very unconventional move indeed" 0_0
I will make sure it doesn't happen again!
18 May 18 UTC Spring, 1902: Hey guys!
No pressure at all, but I was thinking since this is rulebook press, when we have builds or retreats, would it be possible for everyone to ready up whenever is convenient for them? If you need the full time for real life reasons thats fine of course, but since we can't talk anyway it could be a good opportunity to speed up the game.
23 May 18 UTC Spring, 1903: You guys know how there are diplomacy players who will stab you and just own it and maybe apologize, but are pretty mature about it

and then there are those diplomacy players who stab you and are such weak little whiners they feel like they have to grovel and offer whiney excuses about how the “just had to stab you” because it is all your fault, blah, blah, blah?

Well, I’m very sorry to report Germany is one of those pissant whiny ones. Oh well. Now you know
23 May 18 UTC Spring, 1903: Wow! You really needed to vent. I didn’t mean to upset you with my message, and I’m sorry that I did. I’m quite new to the hobby, and in one of the guides, I read: after a stab, explain your reasons to the stabbed. Seems that this was bad advice.
23 May 18 UTC Spring, 1903: Ah. That’s good advice and I appreciate the sentiment. I just need to be more honest. “Sorry about the stab, but you were vulnerable” is a better approach

However, for future reference, better players trust but verify. If there is a non consequential way to prevent a stab do. (Eg blocking an attack on Burgundy as I did.) pretty common, you’ll find

Still, I’ll accept that explanation and I say “play on!”
23 May 18 UTC Spring, 1903: Wow, good job guys, an actual civil conversation after a stab? Im shocked!
23 May 18 UTC Spring, 1903: :)
25 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: Just to warn everyone, Austria is the least trustworthy person in this game AND the person with the most SCs.
25 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: Well, the one with the most centers anyway. There is Germany
25 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: Turkey, I have not received a message from you since 02...

How can I be trustworthy or untrustworthy when we hadn’t had a conversation at all!
26 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: Why can't we all just get along?
26 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: Lol bc it’s diplomacy. I do also share Turkeys opinion of Austria. He’s playing well but is also and endless fount of bs press. After turkey and Russia it’ll either be Italy or Germany next. I’m sure they are both getting Austria’s sunshine pump press right now.
26 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: Do you think people would do that? Go out and tell lies on the Internet?
27 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: My good name is being drug through the mud!
28 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Guys this is German “ diplomacy “ :

You will probably hear the same from both him and Austria. Eerily similar infact don’t you think? It’s now or never folks. These “2” are running this board. Italy, get your game on link up w France. England stop playing w france and deal with the real threat from the center. Look at the map guys and act now. There’s big points here and these “2” sweet talkers are going to take them all.
