02 Apr 18 UTC Good game everyone
02 Apr 18 UTC Well played Germany and Russia.

HB, I can understand why you doubled back after I moved to the Channel, but I was really hoping you would have seen my intention to attack Germany, especially after he bounced me in Picardy in S1902.
02 Apr 18 UTC I really wanted Germany to end with an Italian home center. Would've been a nice touch.
02 Apr 18 UTC GG. Thank you all.
Well played Germany and Russia.
02 Apr 18 UTC Well played. I was too defensive, and it cost me. Italy was a brilliant ally until it made sense for him to stab me, and I cant blame him for doing it then. I was too small to matter in a stalemate line so I tried to help you all prevent the solo.

What I would most have changed would be 03 move where I defended against Germany despite expecting him to go to Piedmont, and moving to Tyrolia in 04 -- that was supposed to go to Bohemia.... Oh well. The writing was on the wall with how easily Italy broke through Turkey while I was still battling Russia.
02 Apr 18 UTC Good game everyone. It was a lot of fun even though I couldn't really get anything going.

@2WL...I certainly misread it. I think I read the writing on the wall against Russia, so I felt like I needed some direction to grow. Of course by then, too little too late. Sorry about that.
02 Apr 18 UTC Good game, all. I'm a little surprised at the draw, I figured that with a fleet in MAO, Italy would have pressed it and tried for the win... Not that I'm complaining ;)
02 Apr 18 UTC I'm a bit surprised myself, seeing as there was only the one Russia fleet in the Channel preventing Italy from running roughshod over everything past MAO. Spain/Portugal/Marseilles should be easy centers, then after that it becomes a matter of course taking Brest, Liverpool, Paris, or London.
02 Apr 18 UTC Eh -- Norway could go to Norwegian so that it blocks up the north (Edi-Lvp - no english centers at risk and Eng convoy Lon to Bre stops up that corner). I can see how Italy could get Mar Spa and Por, but I dont see how it gets beyond 17 under any permutation, especially with Germany's unrealized builds allowing it to lose those centers without significant loss to its defensive capacity.

That said, especially on this second turn, I was surprised that Russia didnt realize it needed to support Germany....
02 Apr 18 UTC I think you are right, I could have played it out for a bit longer. I have been playing a bunch of 1:1 (including GvI). From that view Italy against a united G/R could not win this position, but they are not as well coordinated as one player would be.
02 Apr 18 UTC Also, Tham, I was signalling hard for you move into Kie and Lon, but you never took me up! I figured I could disband Lon and Den and if you rebuilt them in War and Mos, we'd be in better shape...
02 Apr 18 UTC Support Germany where?

And sorry Foxy :( I stopped paying attention too much tbh since I've been busy the last few days and knew the eventuality of the 3-way draw here.
02 Apr 18 UTC it did seem pretty inevitable to me we would end in a 3 way too
