25 Jan 18 UTC [Frozen-Antarctica]:congrats lord bolton.
25 Jan 18 UTC [Ghana]:Yeah. Nice win, well played. And kudos to my continental rival rannjohnson. I enjoyed our tussle a lot. I made a mistake with my moves when I gave up Chad with wrong orders but would have been ground down either way. I tried to make peace and fight Pacific Russia earlier than most but it’s hard to disengage against continental rival in this variant. It would be interesting to see such an alliance some time. But I also appreciate you letting me stick around to the end. Cheers all
25 Jan 18 UTC [Pacific-Russia]:Thanks guys, we'll played all around. I was fortunate enough to get rolling before everyone else could get stable. Being driven out of Australia was worrisome, I'm not sure it can be held or taken from the north if there is a determined attack from the south.
25 Jan 18 UTC [Kenya]:Yes good game indeed. We came close to stopping you, but it was too late in the end.
25 Jan 18 UTC [Pacific-Russia]:I was most worried about the Med
25 Jan 18 UTC [Pacific-Russia]:If Ghana had cut my support from Spain that one turn and Kenya attacked then I was in trouble. I was shifting armies but it would have been a problem.
25 Jan 18 UTC [Pacific-Russia]:After that though it was inevitable. I was glad Quebec didn't fight to the bitter end, it would have lasted another two weeks!
25 Jan 18 UTC [Quebec]:That's Brasils fault. If Brazil had attacked you in the Pacific instead of relentlessly attacking me, we could have easily stopped you long ago, but I wasn't about to slow you down just so Brasil could kill me. Ten years of shit from Brasil is why you won. A full commitment by Brasil to attack you in the Pacific and fully leaving me alone, WC and I would have stopped you easily. I'm talking like back 10, 15 or 20 turns ago, when it became obvious you could sweep the map.and Brasil did nothing against you and tried to constantly kill me, so I decided if I was going to get zero points, so would Brasil, and he did, zero.
25 Jan 18 UTC [Quebec]:look back at 2007/2008, Pac Russia was on the verge of dominating Asia and Europe and the invasion of North America had just begun. At this point, WC and Quebec were strong and cooperating nicely, we could have stopped Pac Russia, but, Brasil insisted on attacking North America and made dozens of decisions that favored Pac Russia and hurt our ability to defend North America. Every single choice he made favored Pac Russia. that's why Pac Russia soloed. Brasil need to totally leave North America alone and send his forces to attack Pac Russia in Asia. But Captain tomorrow apparently likes a fancy futuristic name, but with no ability to actually look to the future result of his actions.
25 Jan 18 UTC [Quebec]:as late as 2012, there was still time to stop the Pac Russia solo, if only Brasil had left North America alone to properly defend. by 2012 it was blatantly obvious to everyone (Except Brasil apparently) that Pac Russia could solo.
25 Jan 18 UTC [Quebec]:And in the end NOT A SINGLE SC in North America is in Brazilian hands, yeah!!
25 Jan 18 UTC [Pacific-Russia]:I interpreted Brazil's later attacks as an attempt to have Quebec do a disband/rebuild. Fortunately his move caused more bad blood and helped me get over.
