04 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: You're helping all of us keep peace :)
05 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: FYI - I'm guessing djbent will be back by Monday.
05 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: Of course. I hereby declare the entire British Navy to be under the control of the Ottoman Empire.
05 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: to dummy Germany: FOI (guess for our information would be the fair response to FYI) who are you?
05 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: He has decided to remain anonymous as DJ's sitter. I've assumed he based on style of diplomacy, but I could be wrong.
05 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: Must... enter... orders...
05 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: I look forward to Monday.....
05 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: hey guys i'm going to be gone for 6 months, do you think we could pause? ;)
05 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: ok yall, it's me, your favorite lady of lies. =)

i can unpause monday. real life is going to put a real damper on my diplomacy, but i'll do my best. so sorry about that! work has just gotten extremely busy, and home life is too. but i promise no more NMRs, and that i'll still play a quality game!
05 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: Sounds good, look forward to getting back down to it, although I've added a cancel vote incase you want it - to be honest my life is busy enough that I wouldn't be sad if a game closed.
05 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: With a two day phase, and a group of talkers, I'd be sad if this closed, but I'd vote that way if people wanted it.
05 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: I have no problem with either continuing the pause, start playing again, or, as a last resort, cancelling.
06 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: if people want to cancel i would as well. I'm also for a continued pause. it would be sad to cancel this game but i'm sure we'd all find a way to play again
06 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: nah, let's play it out! it's a great challenge =)
06 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: Sounds good to me. Was just saying I don't mind cancelling if that's the chosen response :)
Lets get it Ooooon!
06 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: It'd really be sad to cancel this game, we can always keep it paused if you wish, and finish it later. :)
06 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1903: Game on!
08 Mar 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: sorry all, only just now voted to unpause.
08 Mar 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: Great, let's get this baby diploming! or something!
08 Mar 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: Yeah baby!
08 Mar 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: empress wilhelma the 3rd kindly requests all foreign troops to please leave german soil. you're interrupting our production of beer, bratwurst, and liederhosen!
08 Mar 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: Which territory is making liederhosen, because that isn't to be released - there are far too many around as it is!
08 Mar 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: guerrilla seamstresses are operating in silesia - the russia east army should quickly move to put down the lederhosen revolt! in exchange for ending the occupation of berlin, we will grant russian sovereignity in Silesia, and acknowledge that all sewing shall only be to produce those big poofy russian hats. agreeable, dear tsar?
08 Mar 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: Oooh, that is tempting.
10 Mar 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: and i get the grade for #1 idiot. thanks for showing me how it's done, Noirin.
10 Mar 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: No. you get #2. I get #1, because I trusted you AGAIN.
10 Mar 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: Well I'm going to apply for #1 idiot as well.
Not really quite sure why, but infighting in the north whilst Austria takes over the south might be my fault (still not quite sure)
15 Mar 10 UTC ok, i'm sorry yall, i hate to do this, but i just can't keep playing this game. i simply don't have the time for webDip these days. shall we cancel?
15 Mar 10 UTC I'm up for anything. though i'm getting a little pressed for time these days as well
15 Mar 10 UTC I'd prefer to keep this game in the freezer until a better time comes around.
15 Mar 10 UTC I'll vote for both, but I'd urge cancellation. I know that DJ's time is just going to get worse, not better :-)
15 Mar 10 UTC what about a draw if a freeze isn't good because things will get worse instead of better?
15 Mar 10 UTC I've voted for everything :)
Given the company I'd quite like to keep it on my record in some form, if only so I remember about it when I look back in future.
15 Mar 10 UTC heh, i followed figle's lead, and voted for all options :)

what jbalcorn alludes to is that in august i will be a proud new mom, so my free time will only be shrinking in the coming months. i have no problem with leaving this game paused and if/when i'm able to get online to play again, unpausing it (it would be the only game i would keep playing, or pause rather, for sure)
15 Mar 10 UTC Congrats, diplomom.
15 Mar 10 UTC Congrats :)
Cor, I found it hard enough trying to persuade my mum to let me go out in the evenings as it was, and can only imagine how hard it will be if she was a top-rate diplomacy player. I guess I'd have ended up staying in every night, although at least she's have made me think it was my choice!
15 Mar 10 UTC "Given the company I'd quite like to keep it on my record in some form, if only so I remember about it when I look back in future."

I totally agree with this, I've voted both draw and pause. If someone feels strongly about a Cancel, I'm willing to vote it too.
15 Mar 10 UTC congrats! =)

also, lol@figle!
15 Mar 10 UTC So, draw is waiting on Ursa.
Goodbye in advance people, I'm sure we'll meet again sometime!
15 Mar 10 UTC Actually, Pause is waiting on Ursa, Draw is waiting on Ursa and jbalcorn.
15 Mar 10 UTC Garh, I wrote that then changed my message.
*feels like a bit of a fool*
15 Mar 10 UTC I've voted for a draw too. Pity we can't continue. Perhaps in time but I don't think diploming and raising little babies go welll together... We don't want the thing happening in Korea with parents raising an internet baby but forgetting to feed the real kid properly... Anyway, I don't want to end this in a sad way. DJ, good luck and enjoy your time until the baby is born!!
15 Mar 10 UTC So are we pausing then?
15 Mar 10 UTC You have to feed the real ones? I thought they fended for themselves!
15 Mar 10 UTC If figle votes draw, do we need to unpause?
15 Mar 10 UTC I don't think we need to unpause, but figle will know. Anyway, in case of draw, thanks to everyone for the game, and hope to see you soon in another :)
16 Mar 10 UTC If everyone votes draw, I can force the unpause and be done with it.
16 Mar 10 UTC well it's up to you, figle. i'm fine to have an indefinite pause - maybe in a month or two i could come back and play. but, a draw works fine for me as well.
16 Mar 10 UTC Turns out we didn't. Sorry, I'd withdrawn my vote to remind me of it before it went.
Thanks for the game all :)
16 Mar 10 UTC it was an honor to play with all you guys :) hopefully we'll meet again
