12 Apr 17 UTC Spring, 1901: hi all - gl in the game - was just reminded that the golden horn is in Turkey. there is really nothing excited about it, nothing interesting to see - look away, look away
12 Apr 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Ooohh that's some new info!! I didn't know about it ;)
12 Apr 17 UTC Spring, 1901: i'll send you pictures - and besides, the Italian says the Med is all his so you can't send a tour boat over anyway
12 Apr 17 UTC Spring, 1901: The entire Mediterranean?
13 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: yes and i think mao too
17 Apr 17 UTC Spring, 1903: Austria - thank you for playing - sorry about your fate. We are treating the Serbian people well ... can't speak for the people of Trieste, vienna and budapest - - but we hope that R+I can at least be kind towards civilian populations.
17 Apr 17 UTC Spring, 1903: Dear France and Italy - can't we all just agree that the Med can be shared ... and we can have world peace ... and .. oh crap, the english have invaded denmark. always has to be a crisis somewhere.
25 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Can we four draw?
25 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Hey! Russia and I would like to be in the draw and can read that! why should germany and italy live and not us?
25 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: :-) ok - it's the rum and coke making me think i'm funny - now's the time to negotiate with me while i'm prone to make a dumb decision
29 Apr 17 UTC Spring, 1907: Dear Germany. In survival school they teach you to stay in the same spot if safe and secure + wait for help.
29 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Okay, great. So it's a Russia-Turkey-England draw is it? The Frenchman who kept good ties with everybody, who talked to everybody and made good relations with all people on board is being demolished! Amazing isn't it?
29 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: It could be worse. Turkey might be getting demolished. That would suck.

Ha

Ok in seriousness - you have been great to talk to and fighting well. So is everyone else. Nothing personal and still lots of time and it's diplomacy where anything can happen (our relationship soured a bit when I felt you betrayed an agreement we had)
29 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: And since we're on global - England chime in here (It's your pal England who is betraying you ;-)
29 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Turkey is trying to reproach me, but it is an unsubstantiated calumny! The people of belgium voted in referendum expressing their will to leave the protectorate of Great France!
29 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Now draw everybody
30 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: not trying to reproach you at all - just commenting on what i see with my own eyes :-)
30 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: draw?? i'm horrible at art -- can't even draw a cat
30 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: instead of drawing things - shouldn't we be playing diplomacy?
02 May 17 UTC Spring, 1908: curious - did the people of brest also vote to leave france? and I hear england trying to influence votes in portugal, paris, spain too .. to join the british cause,. hmmm
02 May 17 UTC Spring, 1908: i've had pressure to betray my ally russia - but did i bow to that pressure? no ... but the Turkish people have watched in shock and horror as the British have betrayed their long standing ally france -- and not only that -- burned their villages, and bought votes from the survivors and threatened the remainign french centers and even the germans!!

i can't even talk about it anymore ... i need to go lie down for a bit ... wow, just wow
04 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1908: (I do hope that the above taken in jest...)

well - the pressure from E and F to take some territory from russia was eventually too much and in a close vote our military council decided to try and go for 18 to provide some benevolent rule to europe and stop the chaos.

i honestly can't tell you all enough how much i have respected our Russian friend - and we are striving to do very little damage in our attempted quick capture of some centres to end the conflict

I have sent each of you individual message as well - fully understand if the board unites against me and if it doesn't seem i can get to the 18 i will vote draw with my respected opponents
05 May 17 UTC Spring, 1909: E+R. My goal of course is 18 and I could have taken por, ber, Tunis and be done however I believe all parties remaining deserve a survival rating. As such I will strive up end the game with all of them having a Center
06 May 17 UTC Good game all, despite being stabbed by him, turkey was an honorable ally
06 May 17 UTC Great game!
06 May 17 UTC Great game - well fought everyone and respect Italy + Germany highly for playing the game and negotiating right to the end. Sorry Russia -- we did have a good alliance and the stab was tough to do (hate doing actually) but opportunities so few in this game for a victory. Wish everyone well in your ongoing games
06 May 17 UTC Sorry - meant Italy, Germany and France ... France did great at trying to fend me off but also negotiating.

You people didn't just give up and played for survival. Not a lot of people do that so I really respect
06 May 17 UTC Well played turkey. I appreciate you allowing us to survive and also thank you for those words. Good game Russia and England. If only we could do better. Good luck to everyone. Goodbye :)
