09 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1901: ready when possible??
09 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: yes
09 Jan 17 UTC was that your first 2 player game?
09 Jan 17 UTC you didn't post orders at the end
09 Jan 17 UTC yes. sorry. I thought I hit ready on those orders and then my damn dog started barking so I let him out before I saw that i didnt enter orders. It was my first 1v1. I am trying to geta feel for the map and how it plays before the 1v1 tournament. kinda experimenting, wasnt sure if playing france should go for english centers or rush toward front.
09 Jan 17 UTC yes it was my first game too
09 Jan 17 UTC I wasn't sure which strategy to take:
1) attack france from the beginning. take the intitiatve
2} don't attack france and go for supply centres first to build up an army
09 Jan 17 UTC I did a combination of the 2 but mostly did the second option. It seemed to work.
09 Jan 17 UTC I don't know how typical this game was but it seems important that you get the neutral SCs first to get a large army. Can hold the enemy off and attack them later.
09 Jan 17 UTC Yea. I'm hoping to play a few more over course of next few days. Maybe we'll be on at same time again.
