17 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Paying to play more than 3 games and paying to play certain types of game (Not sure about anon, but I'm pretty sure GB and other standard things are behind the paywall)... It's $25 per year.
18 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: I didn't care for the interface.
19 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Ah.. one austrian vote short of being in the draw. That's what you get for loyalty :'( Good game guys!
19 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: I love when I make a good call, but then screw up orders. <sigh>
19 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Gg Italy :p
19 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Thanks for the game, Italy
23 Feb 17 UTC Thanks for the game, guys!
23 Feb 17 UTC That was a strange time to draw it, haha. Gg though.
23 Feb 17 UTC I couldn't get to 18 so...
23 Feb 17 UTC I'll take the draw, as I think the noose was tightening.
23 Feb 17 UTC Cards on the table? Was about to get my teeth knocked in?
23 Feb 17 UTC With the way you were acting this last turn, yes. I was still willing to work with you, but you started acting all scared again. If you had moved BAL into GoB so we could take Norway, I would have been completely fine with it. We could have even convoyed BEL into NOR. Instead, you were too scared to break the line.
How would you have tried to defend against me even if I was trying to stab you? Would you vacate KIEL? Not support hold MUN?
23 Feb 17 UTC Now that convoy suggestion was a good one. Much more comforting than the whole I'm doing it to throw folks for a loop.

My general plan was to support Munich to Berlin using Kiel and Baltic. Then Ruhr cover Holland. I figured that still gave us a stalemate line without risking Munich for nothing.
23 Feb 17 UTC My complex method was to try and get a Russia to have disband a unit, convoy to Livonia, and cause havoc in the western Atlantic as long as possible. Hopefully Austria would try to take advantage of the chaos to make a run at 18, and use that to negotiate a hide hole to slip into.

Not sophisticated.
23 Feb 17 UTC And barring any luck staying alive, support Austria to a solo. If don't make the final cut, I want as few people as possible in the non losers circle.
23 Feb 17 UTC You weren't going to get to 18 when I was still in the game either Austria..
23 Feb 17 UTC You weren't as charming.
24 Feb 17 UTC You also promised me absolute control of your units and then consistently didn't move as I asked. : )
24 Feb 17 UTC Moi?
24 Feb 17 UTC Btw, good game all.
24 Feb 17 UTC Pretty sure he was talking to Italy.
24 Feb 17 UTC I wasn't serious.
24 Feb 17 UTC I disagree with that assessment Austria.
24 Feb 17 UTC If you had moved to Tus when I first asked, we could have convoyed your army into MAR instead of moving your fleet there. That would have allowed you to get behind France's line and break him from the inside out. You didn't do that, so your units weren't useful to me. It was easy to eliminate you while I waited to see if we could break the line in the north.
24 Feb 17 UTC You asked me? Who's idea was that in the first place??
24 Feb 17 UTC Then why weren't you in TUS in Autumn 1906?
24 Feb 17 UTC Look at spring 1906 I'd say, I already was there a turn earlier, but you didn't support my move into GoL. Your Tyrr fleet was just not doing anything, could have supported Tus - Mar in autumn 1906 even.
24 Feb 17 UTC Well, as I told you at the time, you didn't reply to my messages for an entire turn, so I wasn't sure what was happening. In fact, Russia didn't reply to me that entire turn either, so I was quite concerned the two of you were about to stab me. TYS didn't do nothing; it was holding TUN since I couldn't rely on Russia that turn. I explained all of this to you.
24 Feb 17 UTC Now then I could have done some real damage and who knows.. you actually might have had a shot at 18. Was never going to happen after you didn't support that move in spring 1906, as France was adequately defended by that time. A bit weird to give me not complying to a plan I myself came up with to help you as a reason not to include me in a draw. Just be honest and say that you want to cut me, which is fine as that's the game, and I didn't expect to be in it being a 2 sc power and all. However, don't criticize me for not complying to a plan I myself thought out for you - and you were to slow to react to.
24 Feb 17 UTC In the Spring on 1907 you had a fleet in MAR. That could have been an army, which would have retreated to GAS and then moved on BRE. If you had an army in GAS, I would have let you keep your centers and would have even let you get a build when you made it to BRE. A fleet in MAR was useless to me, so I just took your centers.
24 Feb 17 UTC I'm glad to see trust issues on the other side of the fence. I always seem to think I'm facing a monolith on the other side, but I need to keep in mind that the other guys could be as fractured as my side.
24 Feb 17 UTC Unless I made a specific promise guaranteeing survival, I'd have eliminated Italy on principle.
24 Feb 17 UTC I don't know if it was on purpose, but Berlin supporting Burgundy to Munich compounded with Austria telling me he was supporting Munich to see if people kept their promises, and France's move to Belgium. My head was sooo twisted.
24 Feb 17 UTC Basically France said he'd take MUN so Russia and I were supporting him, but then at the last minute he changed his mind. So I held you just for fun and Russia didn't change his moves.
24 Feb 17 UTC I fucking knew it.
24 Feb 17 UTC I wasn't twisted, something foul was afoot
24 Feb 17 UTC Foul for me anyway. Totally cool for you guys.
24 Feb 17 UTC What Berlin did was of no relevance to me. With a unit in Ukraine I knew I was safe from elimination and so I was just sitting around happy to keep supporting France in til he finally followed through.
24 Feb 17 UTC Yes I told them I was attacking MUN. I'd also told them I was going to stab you on roughly 80% of the turns this game.
24 Feb 17 UTC Ultimately, it wasn't worth waiting 2 more weeks to see if we could ultimately eliminate Germany. Didn't seem like a fun use of my time.
24 Feb 17 UTC It's just a different approach than I take. I usually try to look like an impenetrable block so they give up.
24 Feb 17 UTC But promises that never play out can frustrate someone too.
24 Feb 17 UTC I would've quite happily sat around waiting
24 Feb 17 UTC Then you should have taken down your draw vote : )
24 Feb 17 UTC You think that prior experience playing AR alliance together helped?
24 Feb 17 UTC Not really. I would say there is a solid 80% chance HR and I will stab each other no matter what countries we are playing.
24 Feb 17 UTC Germany why did you hit TYR in S04 for no reason? That's really why I never helped you against Russia for the rest of the game. Attacking an Austria that isn't moving against you is a terrible play as Germany
24 Feb 17 UTC I had a miscommunication with Russia. Or was lead down the Garden path. One or the other, not sure which.
24 Feb 17 UTC I was looking for either you or Russia to commit against the other, as I was concerned about an Austronaught. I thought he verbally committed first.
24 Feb 17 UTC I do believe this is only the second time that abge and I have played together and not stabbed each other - the other being in an IT.
