05 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Variants *is*. I was editing and took another quibble out... Grumbledook grammar are awesome!
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Good riddance Italy. Two NMRs is disappointing.
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Also, can we try to stop RUS here? With Serbia, Greece and Trieste and Vienna all but guaranteed for him, he will be at 16. We can still stop him at the Munich/Berlin, Ionian stalemate though.
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Gee, I would, but three of my neighbors seem more interested in attacking me...
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: They have been, but they shouldn't be now.
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Hey, Burgundy has and always will be a territory of the French Republic. I've felled the offending German armies from my lands and am happy to stay on my side of the Rhine.
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: ENG and FRA need to let GER head east immediately. GER knows that helping RUS into North/Norwegian would be suicide. ENG, if I were you, I would diband London. Your army in Gascony could move towards Italy and may be needed there.
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: I'm actually not too sure about that Gascony disband. If he does lose NTH then having an army in England could go a long way to stopping Russia. It also poses the threat of convoying into Norway which should keep Russia honest.
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: If he loses North, there is no stopping RUS, no?
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Also, this is the most I've used the global tab in a non-public press game. Its refreshing.
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: I'm no tactics expert so you should probably take my opinion with a grain of salt. Russia, what do you think he should do?
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: ^I'm no tactics expert either (my gunboat record is terrible), but I think we are both selling ourselves a bit short. But I truly think that if RUS takes North the game is 100% over. RUS does not need English home centers to get to 18.
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Lmao. Yes, Russia. What are your thoughts?
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: I was wondering if this is common haha. Sudden talk out in the open.
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: At some point it doesn't really matter. Russia knows we're all going to try stop him now. We'll discuss the specific tactics that affect him in private though I'm sure.
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Yeah. Global tab can be used to rally the troops. Beats me sending you each messages about stopping the solo
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: If Dirty want his money, I think ya'll should give him his money!
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Having known Yigg for 20-something years I can't tell you how many times I've been in this situation. The only thing to make this complete is one of you get Stockholm Syndrome and help him win.
06 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: That's my role. ^^^^
09 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: I'm going to build an army in Paris, that work with everyone?
09 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: gg guys, sorry for the lack of reliability :/ it's enough unlike me that i'm sad to have done it. carry on and have a great game
09 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Gg Italy. It was good to meet and play with you.
11 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1907: Hey all. Myself, Turkey (RIP), and England are going out town this weekend for our annual board game weekend at our cabin. It is as great as it sounds, and exactly as it sounds. We along with significant others play games all weekend. However we do not have wifi, and cell service is iffy. Would we be able to get a pause from Friday just until Monday?
11 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm totally down with a pause. I'll put in a vote for it now, and we can do it whenever. I'm okay with a pause now, even.
12 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1907: Sounds awesome. Enjoy.
12 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1907: Also, do you guys all own a cabin together?
12 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1907: Enjoy! Sounds like fun.
12 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1907: We don't. Turkey and I are brothers. Its our family cabin. ENG is a friend we do nerdy things with.
12 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1907: Love every minute of it.
12 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1907: Not gonna lie. Kinda jealous of the nerd cabin.
12 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1907: What, 40k weekend doesn't cut it?
12 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1907: If 40k Weekend were held in a cabin in the woods, I'd like it a hell of a lot more!
12 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1907: You guys taking Diplomacy?
12 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1907: Probably not. I've got the game, but I don't think besides the three of us there would be interest. Certainly not 7. Has anyone tried to print a copy or the Ancient Med map before to play f2f? 5 people is more manageable. I'll have to see if there is an easy way to print it off.
12 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1907: Here's a link to a higher resolution image that you could probably print for the Ancient Med.

12 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Thanks Yigg.

I'm going to vote pause now so we have a full phase to talk when we get back. ENG, just need you to click the pause button on the bottom as well.
13 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: Sorry for my late pause! Got it!
17 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: You guys back in one piece?
17 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: We are back. Made it alive with a whole lot of games completed. It was a success. If ENG doesn't check in a while, I'll text him so that we can unpause.
17 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: That's awesome! I'm glad ya'll had a good time. :)
19 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: England...
19 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1907: God. Dammit. I'm sorry guys.
23 Jan 17 UTC Okay, so I have a proposal that I would like everyone to consider.

I would entertain the notion of calling a Draw at this time. England's 2 NMR's are the only reason I'm succeeding in Scandinavia and currently occupy the North Sea. If not for this, I'm confident that the Coalition would stop me from a solo run. For as much as I want a Win, getting one on the back of an NMR isn't fair in my eyes. I also think that a 5 WD is ridiculous, but given the circumstances I see that this is an honorable alternative.

Thoughts?
23 Jan 17 UTC It's unranked so it really doesn't matter one way or the other in my mind.
23 Jan 17 UTC I'd vote for a draw if that's what the group agrees to.
24 Jan 17 UTC I'm going to see Eng tonight to see what is going on.
25 Jan 17 UTC I'd have preferred to not be a part of everyone's draw as the reason it ended this way in the first place. But I don't know there was much to be done about that.

Sorry and thanks though to everyone for playing. I loved the game. Different than anything else I've seen.

Good game to you 4 remaining.
25 Jan 17 UTC It was a pleasure playing with all of you. I would do so again in the future.
25 Jan 17 UTC Agreed. I'd say set up another game in about a month, and I'm in. I want to wind down the other game I'm in before I go at it again.
25 Jan 17 UTC Yeah, good game. Would be more than happy to play another one.
