14 Dec 16 UTC	I certainly wanted to, but Turkey wouldn't stop attacking me... or you for that matter. At that point, all I could do was try to survive. Mac - you realize that 2nd place means nothing more than 10th when someone is running away with the game, right? You handed Germany the game on a silver platter by continuing to attack the rest of us.

The only person I'm attacking is Russia, who absolutely refused to ever move against Germany, and who was absolutely committed to attacking everyone else who actually WAS attacking Germany. Same goes for spain. Go under the map, to the little arrows; go to the start of the game. Pretty much no one ever attacked Germany, you all just bent over and gave him an easy solo. Not much I could do from my side, except make life easy for ukrain, who was the only one fighting back against Germany. I HATE getting stuck in games with people like Russia in a WTA game.
15 Dec 16 UTC	They're all WTA games now, bud. Been that way for over a year... that's exactly what I was saying - you seemed to care much more about getting a few extra SCs than allowing me to make a stand. I hope you realize now that you don't get any points just for surviving anymore.
15 Dec 16 UTC	Yeah I'm going to have to agree with Turkey here. You gave up the Norwegian peninsula really easily and then did nothing to try and take it back or defend your northern SC's. By the Autumn of 1999 Germany was getting too big and you continued to attack Poland and me (Ukraine). Still don't understand why Germany didn't initially try and take Murmansk and STP. That area was oddly vacant circa 1999 2000.
15 Dec 16 UTC	Yeah Russia. You chose to build a Fleet in Saudi Arabia in 1999 to continue to mess with Turkey rather than face Germany (even after Germany took Norway and Seden from you). Your play really helped Germany get the win. It's just weird because you played very differently in another game that ended in a draw that I was part of....(corona-most over rated beer ever)
16 Dec 16 UTC	That's fair Sven. My strategy here clearly didn't work at all (which is why I tried to survive by making nice with Germany a while back). It's interesting that you see me as having played differently in the 2 games though, since I tend to lean towards an aggressive early style of play in all Modern games. It worked well with Poland in that game... not so much here.
