07 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Let's have some fun guys. Playing with friends is just like primary school <3
24 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: Hello all. New Italy here. Thought I'd help so the game doesn't lose balance near the end.
28 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: I hope Russia goes for the solo
28 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: I hope Russia goes for the solo
30 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: A new Austrian Foreign Secretary has been appointed by the Kaiser, and the first diplomatic act of his office is to dissolve all previous treaties or agreements made by the previous Foreign Secretary. The Foreign Office is officially open to negotiations with all powers remaining in the game.
02 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1909: Let's hope I outlive France
02 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1909: Let's hope I outlive France
03 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 1910: Attention England. Russia will solo after this Autumn turn ends. Act accordingly.
03 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: I don't think England got the message.
03 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: Maybe if you guys understood how trust in cooperation works you wouldn't be in this mess :) ps thanks Austria for killing Italy's army for us, not that it really mattered
03 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: It doesn't matter at this point. England is too ill-positioned to stop Russia from soloing.
06 Aug 16 UTC Who didn't see that coming??
06 Aug 16 UTC I did not
You forced it
06 Aug 16 UTC What? That's a ridiculous claim.
06 Aug 16 UTC You think Venuce - Apulia was logical?
06 Aug 16 UTC If Russia wanted to solo, he could have done so easily.
To not solo, he needed to leave Naples
Your move was the only countermove to prevent that
QED
06 Aug 16 UTC I do not think that word means what you think it means. The more obvious question to ask is why Russia went into Naples if not to solo. Ok, I'm done with this. Gg. Well played solo Russia.
06 Aug 16 UTC Any other move by Italy would have meant a continuation of the game
So then claiming "who didn't see that coming?"
If Russia wanted to solo, he would have stayed in Naples
It was a good game, but you forced the solo onto Russia.
I don't mind losing, I do mind your remark " who didn't ser that coming?" It seems to blame Russia, while it was forced by you.
06 Aug 16 UTC You wanted Russia to solo to then claim "I told you so"
06 Aug 16 UTC You never wanted to give Russia the chance to actually prove that he was trustworthy
06 Aug 16 UTC To suggest that I "forced the solo onto Russia" is either disingenuous or naive or both. He moved into Naples. He captured Naples. The only one who could have stopped a Russia solo was England, but he declined to do so. And so, Russia solo'ed.
06 Aug 16 UTC You never wanted to give Russia the chance to actually prove that he was trustworthy
06 Aug 16 UTC Look at Russia's move
Then look at your's
It tells all that you just wanted to be right
If you had made a logical move, there would not have been a solo
06 Aug 16 UTC You wanted Russia to solo
06 Aug 16 UTC That is fine, but then admit it
06 Aug 16 UTC You played poorly and allowed Russia to solo. That is fine, but then admit it. :)
Btw, a logical move for me would have to been to force a solo. That way I survive rather than get defeated for you to have a two-way draw. So your premise that my move was illogical is wrong.
06 Aug 16 UTC It is logical if you prefer survival over defeat.
But then admit that you wanted that.
I have faith and trust people. Maybe that is poor play, I accept that
06 Aug 16 UTC Russia played well and thank you Italy for taking over a CD.
06 Aug 16 UTC I enjoyed the frequent and detailed messages from Russia
06 Aug 16 UTC I guess well fought out in the end Italy, I'm sorry England.

Italy if I wanted the solo win that badly I could've taken Venice several turns ago, or Naples the first time I went into it or convinced England to support me into Tunisia and then taken it.

Or taken Kiel as you spent so many turns trying to convince me to do

Well played to everyone else too
