20 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 2000: I appreciate that, France. I am prepared to help defend Germany and other nations against Russia and Poland if they are keen on making this way more messy than it needs to be.
20 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 2000: Let the record show, germany has never been anything but a gracious ally to the Russian peoples. He turned righteous anger against ukraine during the time of the Russian invasion, and showed uncommon kindness in the splitting if the British Isles. The chances of me fighting my German ally are nada
20 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 2000: Thank you Russia. Hagel Allianz!
20 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 2000: We shall all draw together. I am glad about that decision.
20 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 2000: There shall be peace in our times.
20 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 2000: I made no mention of my feelings towards the italians, conquerors of the peaceful people of switzerland.
20 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: A mistake. Switzerland has been left open to be recaptured for about a year.
21 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: Which I've made a gift to my Italian brothers and sisters.
21 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: Interesting. Istanbul is no longer mine...
21 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: By the way Russia. You should know that at this map you can build in other places other than your homeland, like in Liverpool or Georgia . Just saying.
21 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: Russia, you made casual mention of umbrage towards me. Turkey has also been hitting Bulgaria with a move order for the past year. If you were to support that move order with WBS and Istanbul, Turkey would rumble into Bulgaria. I hit Istanbul with a move order to break support just in case, and you moved out of Istanbul at an inopportune moment. Evidently I did not intend for this, as I would have moved a fleet into Greece to prevent Turkey from moving into if I legitimately believed my single move order posed a threat to Istanbul.
21 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: Also, Turkey, free supply centre if you retreat to Aswan.
21 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: Well aware my ally Poland, but never felt need to build in Liverpool, as Germany and I have been peaceful as can with one another since three of us coordinated to capture Denmark.
21 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 2001: I mention it because i feel it was weird when you did build at Murmansk the year before, so i guess you didn't know. But i am glad you know now.
21 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 2001: Building a fleet at Liverpool comes across as a rather aggressive suprise, as it borders England's province in Wales. The Murmansk fleet is now exactly where I wanted it to be, and hopefully didn't cause alarm bells to flash for germamy
25 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 2001: Now that I've received Istanbul by luck, I'd like to keep it. It helps me feel safer against Russia. Russia has never been outwardly antagonistic and I feel that we can remain tentative allies, considering we both have a vested interest in increasing the draw size.
25 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 2001: I will continue my movements on Egypt, and I encourage Russia to bear down on Turkey's final supply centre as well, if they wish to go for an elimination. However, I'd also be happy regardless even if Russia and Poland agree to a draw before either eliminations happen.
28 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: And there I go....
28 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 2003: i will click draw after aswan is italian.
30 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 2003: GG, well played guys. The most diplomatic match i had played.
30 Jul 16 UTC Good game, all. Now we wait for Russia.
30 Jul 16 UTC Well played guys. In the spirit of cooperation that has happened throughout this game, didn't seem worth it to pursue all out war. Though would have been fun!
31 Jul 16 UTC Good game everyone! Imagine how this would have turned out if I wasn't able to persuade Poland from moving away from my boarders, or if Poland had helped Ukraine!
31 Jul 16 UTC Inde3d. As it was, only Avenue of expansion was a weird battle in Britain vs france and or germany, betrayal of poland which would have invited world vs me, or an impossible battle in the south vs italy where I had no fleets, especially once I lost my build ti be in Istanbul when I moved out and lost ir
31 Jul 16 UTC May have been fun, but draw is better than a wipe!
31 Jul 16 UTC The main reason i didnt attack germany, was neither france or italy would join the attack, so it wouldnt be wise to do it, unless either france or italy attacks. I am surprised that alliance remained. For the same reason, when I had to decide between Russia and Ukraine, I was afraid if I attacked Russia, Germany will join the fight, making it two vs two, and me on the worst position on that scenario. So given Germany successfully allied with France and Italy, I had the only option to align with his suggestion of don’t attack Russia. It would had been more easy for me to choose Ukraine as ally, but I needed at least Italy to attack Germany, and because it didn’t happen, I had to choose Russia. Also, on later turns, I was worried Germany and Russia attacking me, that is why I displayed the deal I made. Encouraging them to not attack me and make it more probable for them to fight each other with taking the attacking side. But they remain allies. Therefore, I had to follow suit and draw with all of you. I liked that we were so diplomatic about it. But in my opinion either France or Italy could afford to start a fight with the less consequences for them, so it was mostly thank to them that we remined very peaceful. But I liked this game, high level diplomacy and formality. In my opinion, what the ambient of diplomacy should be, but most of the times it is not. So well played, very enjoyable. And GG.
31 Jul 16 UTC At the time, I considered you more of an ally. The only reason I helped Russia was so Ukraine didn't grow. If you had chosen to help Russia, I most likely would have remained neutral. Now I consider everyone on this map as an ally!
31 Jul 16 UTC Agreed with poland sentiment. It was nice to start a game, declare alliances, and m for the most part keep them throughout the game
31 Jul 16 UTC Good game, everyone. When I missed the very first turn of the game, I was certain the end would come soon for me. Thank you o Germany & Italy for bringing me into the alliance, at a time when I didn't have much to offer. I hope I earned that faith and friendship, along the way.
31 Jul 16 UTC Play of the game was France not launching a massive counterattack against me when I took Switzerland after a bout of crippling paranoia.
31 Jul 16 UTC Did somebody here make a "Debate for all 2"?
31 Jul 16 UTC There is a game called that....
01 Aug 16 UTC I've been on the other side of that before, Italy. It's the nature of the game to be suspicious of your allies, as soon as any goal has been accomplished, as it was when I finished off Spain. You attacked because you thought I might attack you; you still wanted peace, though, because I was still more valuable as a friend than as an enemy, since you had other battles to fight. I wanted that friendship, too, so why let one little incident spoil things?
01 Aug 16 UTC Do you guys want to possibly make a new game on a different map? You all seem to be the most diplomatic and rational players I've played with.
01 Aug 16 UTC Sure thing. I'm open to any map.
01 Aug 16 UTC yes, i will join as well.
01 Aug 16 UTC Who wants to make the game? We should play with these same settings.
01 Aug 16 UTC well, it was my who set up this settings in the first place. So i guess, it would be fine i put the second match.
01 Aug 16 UTC But do you really want the same settings?. Maybe another map?.
01 Aug 16 UTC Debate for all 2, was not made up by me. I should search that then. I guess.
01 Aug 16 UTC "debate for all ", doesnt have proper settings, 5points inscription, and 10% realibity rating, and unranked.
01 Aug 16 UTC I will create a second version then. This time it will be 60points inscriptions ^^. And it will be Sum-of-Squares Scoring, which means, the number of center does matter. You can be sure it will be fun, since all will have different countries. It will be up, with all the other settings as well. ;) I will leave it open, so new people may join as well. So save your place. :)
01 Aug 16 UTC "Real Debate for all 2"
01 Aug 16 UTC that is the name of the second match. join if you like. ^^
01 Aug 16 UTC obviously anonymus
01 Aug 16 UTC I joined but now I'm poor '-'
01 Aug 16 UTC I am glad you joined. Well, good luck, keep good diplomacy and strategy, and it may turn fine. It is also public chat, so it may be easier to spot any danger. Still, luck is always needed. ;).
01 Aug 16 UTC Also having it with high stakes like 40or 60 points, as well as 60%realibity, makes it sure to have a quality match. The only downside, is that precisely because such settings are exclusive, sometimes the game doesn't have all the players to start. If that happens, i will set up another game with 40 points again.
02 Aug 16 UTC Lookin forward to it!
06 Aug 16 UTC Make sure you guys join the "Real Debate for all 2"
