Game won by Floodgates (2086 D)
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: I end up with 2 or 3 units, England 17 and Turkey the rest.
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: Germany, would you like support to Moscow?
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: Or Italy's presentation works. I'd appreciate support to Berlin this turn from Prussia.

Your scenario maximizes my points, I would be happy with that.
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: I always anticipated losing Moscow to Turkey - I was fine with it. Turkey and I still have gains to make from Germany though, hence why I don't want to draw yet.
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: You are talking bullshit England. You don't have any points to win from Germany. He almost doesn't have any points left. You have points to win from Turkey that's all. Or you go for a solo and win a really big amount of points.
Germany is just not where the points are...
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: I don't think you know how the point system works. The more the board leader holds, the more each of them is worth.
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: England is right; it is the Sum of Squares system
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: Germany 81 now is 18 .....
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: Exactly so you can still get 18 points from Germany... And over a 100 from each other.
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: Why are we even arguing with France. The dead don't have a voice.
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: Haha!
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: I disagree, I can talk :)
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: Hello... from the other side?!?
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: I must have called 1000 tiiiiiiiiimes
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: I'm not dead, I'm just no longer the leader of my people.
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: France still has SE Asia and I have Siberia. We're alright.

#ripaustria
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: OH God, not Adele
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: lol
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: I wonder if Germany will wake up or not.
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: Oh, is that an act of aggression then?
Germany should ally with me, austria and france. we'll save him
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: The 3 of you great former leaders are welcome to stay in my palace in Rome. It is one of the last remaining free cities. Free in a world that is coming to accept only 2 options. Comcast or Verizon, Fox News or CNN, Republican or Democrat, Turkish Rule or English Rule... In this bipolar world, I represent the dying third option.
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: I have one request for italy and turkey.
take rome, maybe, maybe munich too...
BUT DON'T TAKE TUSCANY.
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: #InPisaEatingPizza
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: hehe ;-) LOL
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: Ooh, that sneaky German army, LOL.
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: My plan would have ended this game already... lol
03 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: and not even needed ....
04 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: Oops, were you wanting Kiel Italy? I must have missed that- I thought it was for me
04 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: I didn't want it really but if we were trying to mathematically eliminate germany then I would have had to take it (otherwise he could have moved there from Holland to bounce your unit in Kiel... and I wouldn't be able to support you if tyrolia bounced munich so the only way to do it would be me to move to kiel and Turkey to Munich (to prevent him from taking it)). That was the plan to knock him out which I figure is what your waiting on to draw.

I don't care what happens as long as I survive, but my preference would be that Germany lives. But if it's him or me, take him please.
04 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: Interesting, so England isn't drawing. Could he actually have the guts to try a solo?
05 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: It will be hard for him unless turkey messes up again... and Letting Germany behind his flank is def a mess up.

I find it ironic that Germany really has the best chance right now of handing the victory to England, the country that betrayed him in the first place.
05 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1908: Yeah if Germany is smart he stops attacking Turkey and goes against England. That way he can ensure that nobody can take a solo and he will get some points. If he goes against Turkey it will simple be a solo for England.
05 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1909: It was a calculated guess. I could have easily bounced in Vienna after the facts but I assumed I needed to support the attack on Warsaw more because I assumed England would first defend Warsaw. And .... I thought the same as you guys are writing; that Germany would not help England to get the solo. But...... it is not yet too late !
05 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1909: Well Turkey maybe you should support Germany into Stp in exchange for Vienna?
This turn is the moment that should happen, next turn it will be to late.
05 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1909: I am all for that! So Germany, if move LIV -STP with my support and you move VIE-TYR or BOH where afterwards you will support Italy in MUN. Then England will have to defend NOR and SWE after that
05 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1909: We can force England to draw. Meanwhile I can support silisea to Berlin this turn, and you can move warsaw into Prussia so even if he blocks it we can have it next turn.
05 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1909: Yeah, you can force the draw. I'll still get Kiel though, I'm happy playing out another turn or two.
05 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1909: yes Italy I will do that
05 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1909: But how about Germany ?
06 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1909: well .....
06 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1909: Sorry for not supporting, I knew he'd support hold since we spoke about it publically and the game is going to come down to holding Munich. If England gets Munich or Rome he wins.

I'll support Venice into Tuscany next turn to bounce his move there, and then if you can keep support on munich we'll force him to draw.

I think we should include Germany on the draw now too since only England greed has kept the game this long.
07 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1909: Well you've handed the game to England. Good job.

England, I look forward to playing you again some day.
07 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1909: Likewise.

I think German NMRs handed me the game though. The original Germany (that I was going to draw with) disappeared so I decided to attempt the solo.
07 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1909: Don't sell yourself short. you intended on betraying germany and attempting the solo from the start. Nothing wrong with that, the backup plan should be draw not primary one ;) anyway I had fun
07 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1909: Actually, I fully intended to go the whole way with the original Germany, believe it or not!
07 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1909: I also thought what Italy thought ;-)
08 Jun 16 UTC Congrats England !
08 Jun 16 UTC gg
