09 May 16 UTC | Spring, 1: The Greek oligarchy wishes to acknowledge the close cultural ties that have evolved between Athens and Rome and wishes Caesar all the best in his campaign. Any assistance we can offer is his for the asking. |
09 May 16 UTC | Spring, 1: Carthago delenda est, right Roma? |
09 May 16 UTC | Spring, 1: Carpe diem, nihil obstat |
09 May 16 UTC | Spring, 1: De bello maris magni |
09 May 16 UTC | Spring, 1: Egypt there's ni need for hostilities between us. One army in Numidia one in Cyrene and we bounce for an eternity. What do you say? |
09 May 16 UTC | Spring, 1: Maris magni is near and dear to my heart - looking forward to revisiting some of the destinations προς το νότο, otherwise there is a sensible split of the regional destinations optimus amicus. Carthago delenda est, right Roma? |
10 May 16 UTC | Spring, 1: Hopefully as soon as possible |
10 May 16 UTC | Spring, 1: Carthago, I say it sounds good. Good luck with Rome! |
10 May 16 UTC | Autumn, 1: Pax Ionium et pax ad septum aclouthiae. |
11 May 16 UTC | Autumn, 2: Salve Roma. We should coordinate the division of Vindobona and Dalmatia. If you take Vin and I take Dal then we can bounce in Ven moving forward. Let me know if this is agreeable, then I will Ready up. Persia, I am willing to bounce in Dacia and once you take Sinope, then we should be able to establish a lasting truce while we focus our efforts southward. |
11 May 16 UTC | Autumn, 2: Agreed, Greece |
11 May 16 UTC | Autumn, 2: Yup |
12 May 16 UTC | Spring, 3: Greece, I'll support you into the Syrian sea if you let me breathe for a couple of turns |
12 May 16 UTC | Spring, 3: huh?! sounds like suicide to me... did you mean Cilician strait? That would effectively block Persia and give you the breathing room you are seeking for a couple of turns - and since Persia didn't actually do what he "agreed" to do, I'm not sure what he's up to... Persia: would you like to enlighten me? Looks like a flanking maneuver in the north that also encroaches on another close friend of mine. Are we giving Egypt breathing room or not? |
12 May 16 UTC | Spring, 3: Greece, Sarmatia is moving back to Chersonessus |
12 May 16 UTC | Spring, 3: Thanks for touching base. Obviously, I will not challenge that move. Any thoughts on breathing room for Egypt? I'm thinking you may have your sights set on Cyprus... |
12 May 16 UTC | Spring, 3: Greece I would imagine the Gulf of Sytris is fqr more appealing than the Cilician Straight... Then again I hear Alexandria has a nice library |
12 May 16 UTC | Spring, 3: I qould also like to point out that Egypt's word is worthless. Look at how our agreement is working out, regardless of how it may affect you and your ally. |
12 May 16 UTC | Spring, 3: q is an irritating letter. |
12 May 16 UTC | Autumn, 3: It appears that Carthago no delenda est. It was noted right from the get go that Egypt did not intend to honour her initial proposql and that she is hell bent on making wqves in Carthage. Syrtis is temping, though I can't see extending myself that fqr right now. My relationship with Persia has been touch and go, so I make an appeal to Pharaoh to support me into the Cilician Strait to help stall any further encroachment towards Cyprus. Hopefully this will give him the breathing room he is seeking! |
