20 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Good game all!
20 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1901: i wish you all the worst of luck!
20 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Haha, thank you Russia!
21 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1901: It is perhaps too early, and hopefully it'll soon be irrelevant, but what shall we do with absent Austria and Italy if they don't return?
21 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1901: ?
21 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Italy's back!
21 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1901: It is not easy to get started here ....
21 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1901: sorry guys
23 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1902: I just stopped playing this game so G and F ( other than they seem to know each other ! ) will have an unfair game
23 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Wait England what?
23 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1902: E you just do seem not to know the Sealion. Why are you crying like this? Diplomacy is a game of alliances and treason, you have just been played.
23 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1902: England, check my history, I have never played a single match with France. We don't communicate outside the framework of this website. You told me about your plans YOURSELF. The only unfai thing here is your accusation. Yellow card, mate.
23 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Yeah England if you do that, you don't just ruin the game for 2 people, but all 6 others. Do the right thing and play or at least get a replacement
24 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 1902: Russia... really? War or Boh, Boh or War, you need the full 24 hours to decide...?
25 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1902: so this is either a french solo, or maybe a draw with turkey.
25 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1902: This is for sure a russian defeat
25 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1902: true. and soon.
28 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1903: So what's next? I was thinking about a draw between G, I you and me. I'm gonna support I because we worked well together and he is a natural border for me. I don't know whether you intend to collaborate with him or not.
Would you be keen to draw at 4?
28 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1903: Sorry for the global message :s
28 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1903: Surely you and I could eliminate Italy with little long term risk to the other. I think 3 may be the best draw
04 May 16 UTC Spring, 1906: I'm happy with the draw after this year folks.
04 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: I see a russian solo coming up. I am sorry for you France, Turkey and Germany but at least you tried.
04 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: #makestpetegreatagain
04 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1906: thats exactly what i mean! haha :D
06 May 16 UTC Thanks guys for the match, we stole other people's money, so we're happy ;-)
06 May 16 UTC that is really weak. there was a lot of play left in this game.
06 May 16 UTC Where do you see it? I don't see a solo on this board, except mayyybe by France if Germany and I don't resolve our differences.
06 May 16 UTC i think france could have reached 15 centers without even trying, and a solo was definitely possible. those german armies are so far east, and only two german fleets.
06 May 16 UTC Would've been a battle for Kiel and Norway. Germany and I had been getting along, so I'm fairly confident we couldn't patched it up enough to force the stalemate there.
06 May 16 UTC We reached a fragile equilibrium. Had France stabbed me, and he was fully aware of that, I would of immediately allied with Turkey. I was afraid of them to gang up against me, and Turkey put up a decent fight showing that he wouldn't go down easily. Sure, it was possible to continue, but as it takes diplomacy to play, it also takes strategy to decide when to stop.
06 May 16 UTC That, and there usually has to be some bitterness or emotional resentment on the board for a solo to happen. All 3 of us got along very well.

G, I actually loved how you moved your final year. Hadn't even considered the possibility and almost left me exposed.
06 May 16 UTC Thanks everyone for the game. Despite the angry E at the beginning It was a real pleasure to play with all of you.
Special thanks to my man G, we played a great game.
06 May 16 UTC yes. nice alliance play by you two. how about that austrian opening though. have any of you ever seen that before?
06 May 16 UTC I have both done it and convinced others to do it before, just soloed a different board with it actually.
06 May 16 UTC It is strange not to take Ser and let it to T though
06 May 16 UTC Normally the arrangement is that Turkey would get Greece and not stab for Serb in 02.
06 May 16 UTC Italy being hostile really ruins it though. It's great for Austria as a delayed AI. Sets up the Lepanto very well.
06 May 16 UTC So it is a lot in favor of T because he has a few chances of getting Gre normaly.
And usually I'm not a big fan of the T A-H alliance when I play A-H, there is always a big risk of a Turkish stab.
06 May 16 UTC Yeah, it's a somewhat circumstantial opening. If you have a good buddy as I to your A, do it!

I also play a lot of bar games, which only make it to about 05/06. AT is great for early growth, and the opportunity to stab doesn't often come before 05.
06 May 16 UTC Ok good to know. I'll take it into account for the next games
06 May 16 UTC bar games? are you in chicago?
06 May 16 UTC I am!
