16 May 16 UTC Spring, 2016: We are basicly stuck until the withholder makes a move, or changes their mind.
16 May 16 UTC Spring, 2016: NY, if you don't want to eliminate BC, then I suggest we agree to an absolute moratorium on movement. Hold and support Hold only from now on. Eventually the withholder will lose patience and either do something or finally vote hold. If anyone moves, we know they are the culprit.

16 May 16 UTC Spring, 2016: Out of curiosity Columbia, why do you think Texas is the liar?
16 May 16 UTC Spring, 2016: Cause he started this witches hunting..
16 May 16 UTC Spring, 2016: I've pressed " draw " years and years ago
17 May 16 UTC Spring, 2016: the 'people losing are clearly the ones refusing to draw' logic is pretty ridiculous. you all do realize the draw is by far the best outcome for people like me and bc right?
17 May 16 UTC Spring, 2016: Hence the 'Not going to attack Columbia' on my part. It doesn't make much sense and the first attempt already failed.
17 May 16 UTC Spring, 2016: ok what now ??
17 May 16 UTC Spring, 2016: As I said, absolute moratorium on movement.
17 May 16 UTC Spring, 2016: I understand ..BUt a complete moratorium leaves me open in LA and SAN D.

as long as someone is holding out I am moving NPO to GO santa cruise so I can support and Hawaii to NPO..

These as you can see are purely defensive.

Panama moves to costa rica..

a complet no move now seems like a odd request from my POV..

I am being open and honest about my moves and motives.
17 May 16 UTC Spring, 2016: I will consider any movement to be suspicious and hostile. Peru, you are not the only one to have defensive concerns. You have not stopped maneuvering for position since the deaw was called. Just stop now.
17 May 16 UTC Spring, 2016: I will assume that any player that moves is a holdout.
17 May 16 UTC Spring, 2016: easy to say TEX, you have full defence on Vera , Durango are one move away from me.

BC got no material advantage from his gains..Im pleased he did get them..

it appears convieniet to me that you can use my defensive set as an excuse to attack ESP when I have NY locked down and he has me locked out. an agreed set of moves ie Fleet Vermont to Sargasso was agreed and defensive..

You don't seem to want me to have the same draw line with you ??

I will lock in moves as I said and wait for and BC thoughts
17 May 16 UTC Spring, 2016: NY and BC thoughts ..
17 May 16 UTC Spring, 2016: Peru you already have a superior position in Mexico. I don't know what you are talking about in Vera: I cannot hold it if you choose to attack. And Durango is empty so that is a bizarrely vacuous argument
17 May 16 UTC Spring, 2016: Sorry I have misread Mex Vera ,

Please move Nevo to Pot if you wish to lock border.
17 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: I conclude that Peru is the holdout.
17 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: NY, do you want me to support you into Yucatan?
17 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: good for you Tex..

I will wait for BC and NY to chat before setting my moves..

Ps it aint me saying lets attack ..I did the moves and explained my motives..and will await the thoughts of ALL players..
17 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: Texas LOL
18 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: I remain neutral and will defend Columbia from any attacks. If a war breaks out between Peru and Texas then I will attack both parties until peaceful negotiations back be established.
America is at peace, quite your political banter and military maneuvering so we can draw.
18 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: LOL...thanks NY that clears things up lol..
18 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: It helps that I have more SC's than each power separately, so I either get both of them to attack me and show their true nature as blood-thirsty warriors or they settle down and become monks. :)
18 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: Im chill laxed...
18 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: costa rica heading to guat to sup hold yucatan after tex threat
18 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: all other units holding..
18 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: That's a long journey Peru. I would hope by then this would be ended in a draw. If it isn't then this holdout game is kind of insane.
18 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: I agree which is why Im doing it thois way.. hopefully the inevitable closuer of that gap will get the draw Im waiting for..
18 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: But is it possible drawing an unranked match? Maybe that'a the problem lol
18 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: I've been in plenty of unranked games that end in a draw. So no, that's not the problem, someone in this game is just being annoying by holding out on us.
18 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: I think it's Texas, but boh
18 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: tick tick tick.......tick...friggin tick..
18 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2016: I am just going to give you the game NY. Peru is the holdout, they are the only one to keep maneuvering every turn.
18 May 16 UTC Hmm... This presents a difficult situation Columbia.
18 May 16 UTC I believe it is time for you tk regain your homeland Columbia, once I have secured some of the now open Texas SC's I will move my alaska fleets southward so you may move in to take it. Once the situation has been pacified we will look into expanding your territory a little if a Draw is not set.
18 May 16 UTC When a draw is not set*
I'll be letting the holdout sit in one SC until he surrenders.

So Columbia, would you be willimg to stay in your west coast(including Alaska)SC's while I be Peacemaker?
18 May 16 UTC Why not just go for the solo NY? It should be fairly easy.
18 May 16 UTC Texas press draw. So easy.
18 May 16 UTC I figure NY should be able to take at least 9 of my SCs without opposition. With Ungava and Manitoba that would put them at 32. Might have to fight a bit for the last couple but I would help.
18 May 16 UTC Or we could end this all peacefully?
19 May 16 UTC Panaman to NIC LOL..

To be honest I have no idea which of you is holding out..

If its NY great strategy..

If is tex I dont understand , BC may be just doing it for the fun ..

Me no reason to not press draw..
19 May 16 UTC so who the hell was it
19 May 16 UTC no idea ..cali..

either Tex or BC my best guess..

may have been NY..

in the end I wouldn't mind getting a game up with some points in it lol..

but im playing a few too many at the moment ( a torney and a Study group game as well) glad this one has finished..
19 May 16 UTC Ah good, the game ended.
Hopefully we all learned that holdouts are no fun. :)
19 May 16 UTC For the record if I had been the holdout I would have taken advantage of Texas and claimed a solo win.
Strangely the holder decided to forgo that and end it suddenly.
19 May 16 UTC I pressed draw years ago. Only pressing ready is not funny man.
19 May 16 UTC I'm sure it was Peru. Dont know why they are still denying it. The draw happened shortly after Peru's message last night. My ploy was to get them to draw by giving the game to NY, although it was predicated on the hope that Peru would log on before NY which it did not. But surprisingly NY did not jump at the solo. It was pretty obvious that it was Peru even before. It kept maneuvering for position EVERY turn and giving nonsensical justifications for it.
