27 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Hi, just found this game ready to run and thought I would join. Good luck all.
27 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1901: O goodie. Finally, an easy coutry to play.
27 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1901: I've had about ten Germanys and eight Austrias in recent times... I think I know where you're coming from there Italy.
27 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1901: I just hope I'm not headed for the game box too early.
27 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Looking out at the names, I realize I should have been nicer to people in other games.
27 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Ha, yes, that is always the problem.
27 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Is it too early to start govelling? Did I mention how nice you all look?
27 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1901: I think the others are still stuffing themselves with Turkey, something you should consider as well.
27 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1901: But I have to be careful I don't Rus to slip in the Greece?
27 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1901: There will be no Turkey stuffing in this game please!
28 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Ghehe. Good luck everybody!
28 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1901: I apologise for the delay here but I am waiting for one or two replies. I will not miss the start.
28 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1901: I believe I am ready now...
28 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1901: There, the English have committed themselves to a course of peaceful expansion.
04 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1903: The English have now committed themselves to a course of peaceful retraction into hedgehog mode... Trade tariffs have been raised and no French wine or food is allowed to be imported.
04 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1903: Have you thought about Iitalian wines? Like,. "I want pasta, mommy!"
04 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1903: A good sales pitch there, I would indeed like to take advantage of your excellent products. It is time someone showed the frogs that they are not as good as they think...
04 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1903: Well, itt doesn't look like it will be the English. I believe that inport ban will be ineffective though, since it appears that everything but Ireland will soon be listed as a suberb of Brest.
04 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1903: Might be time for that dog kennel speech wherre you say something like,. "We will fight them on the bitches. We will fight them on the males. We will bite them in the kneecaps...."
04 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1903: Ah, the dog kennel speech. I must remember to dress fat, hold a giant cigar and quaff Champers... no, hang on, that's froggy bubbly - I need some decent Asti or similar to complete the image. Mind you, I'd like to get my hands on Best...
04 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1903: Nuts, Brest, it is Brest, not Best. 'Naughty thoughts make fingers tremble on keyboard' (Confused-us).
05 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: Notice how much easier it is to play Italy than the other countries simply because one doesn't have alll those pesky units and options.
07 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1904: Why can't Italy invade France here? I am being plagued by the Frogs and he just won't look in any other direction.
07 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1904: Well, there are austrians coming at me and an army in mar and I'm not suicidal. Sorry.
07 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1904: Dateline Wales: Thousands of Brits are standing on the western coasts awaiting the arrival of the first shipments of French wines in years. Though Londond shops had expected to receive the first shipment(as evidences by the rush of British soldiers to London) it is likely that the wines will go on sale first in either Liverpool or a city which no one can pronounce. Inquiring Onophiles what to know.
07 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1904: Oenophiles, I believe it is oenophiles... Bloody Italians, just because they inherited Latin they think they know Greek as well.
07 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1904: Little Latin and less Greek. Besides, Pope Secola, Ruler of All Itlay, had the Engllish embassador over for dinner last night and had his liver with a magnum of fine Chiantti.
13 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Looks like the Kaiser could be caught short here.
13 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: On the bighter side, those French wines seem to be flying off the shelves in London.
13 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Rather unfortunate I must say. I was the victim of a three-way plot.
13 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Now tell me that the Munich gambit was planned a long time ago... ; )
13 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: No, wasn't even thinkingn of it until he hadn't moved and I was on. By the way, is a 3-way plot a place where they bury sexually adventursome dead people?
13 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: I made the move to Mun 30 seconds before moves were due.
13 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Good choice.
20 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: Good bye England. Good luck in your other games.
22 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1908: Thanks...
24 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: Turkey, why not put in your retreat so we can get on with the game. Really poor to hold up the game when there's no choice envolved.
24 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: I guess it's Germany. Sorry.
28 Jan 10 UTC Though I've been wrong before, I think this move ends the game. Nicely done everyone. I think it's the best Italy I've ever played. Nicelly played France and especially Russia. Turkey, everyone deserves to survive whenever possible. I hope you remember this when the situation is reversed in a future game.
