21 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1999: Good luck everyone
03 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: I find it hard to believe that somebody joined as florida just to stop me. Somebody is cheating in this game.
03 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: I might go nmr. Bad sport.
03 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: Nobody is cheating and I did not join as Florida just to stop you, that seems like you complaining because it's not a walkover, when it has to be better to go up against a real person than an empty country, or maybe not when it stops you getting 3 centers!
03 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: Obviously Florida only joined to stop Texas, this IS the only and most important game going on right now
03 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: Do you hear what I just said, I did not join to stop Texas, I do not know anyone in this game, whether it is the only and most important game going on...well for you perhaps... I am playing in other games.

Listen, I thought the idea of these games is that when someone drops out you try to get a replacement, that is what I am a replacement. I really don't understand why you are going on and on about it and worse you are making totally unfounded statements which I resent.
03 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: Oh no our texas won't win because somebody stepped in! You join games like this because you don't pay points to get in and you get points if you end up doing well. Thats what I do a lot of the time
03 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: Except there is literally no hope for him to recover here. You joined at a crucial moment only to stop something from happening for a year at most.
03 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: So what?
03 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: It's unlikely to be coincidental.
03 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: Ready your moves, and then we can see whether the dire predictions about Florida are true.
Let's keep this moving!
03 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: GameMaster: Another_MD was banned: invalid email. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
03 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: And he was Texas Lmao
03 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: Daaaaaaaamn
12 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: All,

I've just taken over BC. I look forward to talking with all of you, eh.
12 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: I took over Peru. Good game for all of us.
26 Mar 16 UTC Autumn, 2008: RIP

02 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 2011: Texas is just corrupt, huh?
02 Apr 16 UTC Spring, 2011: That's really anoying
13 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 2014: Gg everyone
15 Apr 16 UTC Let's draw
15 Apr 16 UTC I agree and have voted for it.
15 Apr 16 UTC As have I. It's down to Texas
15 Apr 16 UTC If he doesn't, we could threaten to all form an alliance against him :) the fear factor usually works hahahahaha
15 Apr 16 UTC Texas has been a reliable ally for the time we've worked together. He hasn't been online for 17 hours and hasn't saved moves. We still have 20 hours to adjudication. I don't think that we need to resort to threats yet. His position isn't such that he likely thinks that he's going to solo.

Peru and I are highly committed in what is essentially a standoff. New York is the strongest position, and accordingly has lots of enemies. Texas has a competitive position with respect to New York assuming Mexico, Peru and I aren't harrying him from any side. I can't imagine that he'd resist a draw.
15 Apr 16 UTC Oh I very much expect him to draw, I was just having a little fun joking about the threats. He has been a solid enemy! I've been against him all game and even though he has been outnumbered he has done wonderfully. It's been a fun game all around
15 Apr 16 UTC It was an odd one for me as a takeover. My alliances were abnormally (for me) in flux the whole time I was playing. I was both allied with and fighting with everyone that I was adjacent to. In games from scratch, it much more common for me to have much more long-standing alliances, that, when broken, are nearly always broken by the other side. In this case, I received an unusual number of turns against me, and actually initiated two myself.

Interesting that only Mexico, our smallest by a fair bit in the draw, was an original player here.
15 Apr 16 UTC Fun game
16 Apr 16 UTC GG all!
