04 Nov 15 UTC Congrats, but come on guy, that was a cancel :)
04 Nov 15 UTC An amazing win by the only player to move while the server is down.
Well done!
04 Nov 15 UTC I remember thinking in 1906... dude Italy you know were all about to lose right... Marseilles was so important.
04 Nov 15 UTC Sorry Italy. You were a good ally and that was a dick move at the end.
04 Nov 15 UTC agreed cheap win.

04 Nov 15 UTC haha. love it.
04 Nov 15 UTC Game was already over by the time the server was down in 1908.
04 Nov 15 UTC well, we never managed a stalemate after everyone voted draw... And still fought each other like crazy
but that servershutdown...

04 Nov 15 UTC Nope, Germany was still in the game before the server was down.
04 Nov 15 UTC France, with such a weak R-T, you don't build in Mar, that was your bad.
04 Nov 15 UTC England that was an interesting struggle. I really wanted to be your ally after Belgium
04 Nov 15 UTC Game was already over by the time the server was down in 1908.
04 Nov 15 UTC It didn't matter that Germany was still in the game. If I didn't get to 18 there, I would have picked up more in the south. There were only 2-3 French fleets, so no way to bottle me up at Ionian.
04 Nov 15 UTC Thanks Obama
04 Nov 15 UTC With Bre open, a fleet in Mar means war with Italy. That almost immediately threw the game to A.
04 Nov 15 UTC well, i tried, France, but i wasnt sure... probably my bad not to set more trust in our alliance
04 Nov 15 UTC As I got up to 9, 10 centers, I kept waiting for Italy to turn around, but it never happened. It would have been fatal to Italy, France would have swooped in from behind, but it was the only chance for the rest of the board to stop me.
04 Nov 15 UTC Then with G in the game, F could've supported me in blocking Ain the south.
04 Nov 15 UTC This coming from a guy whos played... 1 game total? Are you an expert now? The build in Mar had nothing to do with you a fleet move instead of convoy to Tunis however is a very anti French position
04 Nov 15 UTC @A, agreed, which is why I didn't do that. If I'm lost, I'd rather throw the game to my ally (A) than the bully (F)
04 Nov 15 UTC eh...maybe because i was imbalanced and short of fleets. best case, game ends with me on 14-15 but no room for growth cause rest of the board is united.
04 Nov 15 UTC well, it's over. Could should have been canceled in my oppinion, but i understand Austrias argument... he was quite ahead...
unfortunate
04 Nov 15 UTC notice how I moved instantly to spain...
04 Nov 15 UTC @F, a real genius you are, I've played many games elsewhere. And why would anyone ever convoy to Tun?!?!
04 Nov 15 UTC after missing the first move, you were in a tough spot. i thought about pushing a fleet into ionian earlier in the game to support you when you were bouncing with france, but without communication worried you would read it as an attack.
04 Nov 15 UTC By the time you moved to Spain I was committed against you. Too late. Next time build in Bre to signal alliance with Italy.
04 Nov 15 UTC You are kidding right...
04 Nov 15 UTC only reason to convoy to tunis is to have the fleet in ionian for 1902. sets up lepanto move to EMS, then convoy army to syria in fall '02.
04 Nov 15 UTC Yes haha. Keep up the awesome work genius.
04 Nov 15 UTC You really have never seen Italy convoy to Tun?
04 Nov 15 UTC @A, yes except I missed Spring01 so didn't have the extra fleet for that.
04 Nov 15 UTC not in 1902 I haven't
04 Nov 15 UTC lepanto is also basically impossible to pull off in a gunboat style game. A and I need to be able to communicate to make it happen.
04 Nov 15 UTC You will never convince me Ven-Tyr is the standard Italian opening in gunboat or diplomacy. Thats the dumbest assertion i've ever heard. go look at 30 games by italy the majority would look like leponto whether intended or as a distraction.
