05 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: No. I would rather not state where I live, since this is an anonymous game.
05 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: Do you presently reside in an Oregon Wildlife Refuge?
05 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: No. I am not from the US.
08 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: I have to say that this is a very rare game. I have never witnessed a coalition 5 vs 1 that was so solid.
08 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: I'll second that. It's been an exceptional effort once that effort began. Especially given how vicious the East was prior to that.
08 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: Except that you left it too late to save the game. You guys lost it in the South
08 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: Says the guy who has no home centers.
08 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: They can still get their participation ribbon.
08 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: Happy to write an EOG about when we lost this if we do indeed lose, but for now I wouldn't point any fingers.
13 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: France, it was a good game, but it's over. It's one of these rare cases when 5 small countries unite against a single threat. You have played well, but lets finish it.

Please vote draw.
14 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: I may be missing something, but I don't see a clear stalemate line nor a set of moves which guarantees creating one. Please, show me what I can't see. If you're worried about the speed of the game's conclusion, we can ready builds and retreats.
21 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1912: That St Pete's move-set by Russia was pretty amazing. Nicely done.
21 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1912: Yes. If only F Lpl - Cly... then there would still be play in the game!
21 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1912: And if you had the brains god gave a goat you'd know i could not risk that move in this phase.
21 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1912: I respectfully disagree with you.

What your risk assessment was:
Option a) Maybe getting eliminated in 1912 to avoid certain elimination in 1913.
Option b) Certainly surviving 1912 to certainly get eliminated in 1913.

I think there's at least a case for option a, though I respect your choice to play option b.
21 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1912: A better move would have been to Wales.
21 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1912: omg
21 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1912: France, put in the draw vote. You will need a 3rd unit to catch the English fleet, but you don't have and won't have this 3rd unit - all your forces are trying to hold the stalemate line. Meanwhile England will bring havoc behind your lines, taking one center after another, until it will either help us to advance in the Med or in the North.

It has been a great game, one of the most interesting games I have played, but you can't win it. Put in the draw vote.
21 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1912: Looks like he has a shot at St Pete. Isnt that a third unit?
21 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1912: Play on France...play on
21 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1912: Ouch. Bad etiquette, Germany. Bad etiquette.
21 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: Usually I would agree with you Turkey. But France is not drawing. And he doesn't need a third unit. We're cooked, but we can take pride in a very good fight. So Germany's faux pas is trivial.
21 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: I disagree with with you. More in private.
21 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: Actually England, your real missed opportunity was in Spring, where Lpl - NAO not only would have been safe but would also have opened a long-shot chance at saving the solo. (After NAO - Lpl; then a guess over MAO which could have "unchained" you from Liverpool (for example: he covers MAO and you move to Nwg, or he doesn't cover MAO and he is beaten by NAO - MAO - Por - Spa(sc) - just about anything). But Wales would NOT have been a better move at any point.
21 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: Good point Turkey. Not quite cooked yet!
21 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: Its bad etiquete to talk? You bring stuff up in Global and its fair game buddy.
21 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: Really looking forward to EoGs for this, there are going to be some disagreements.
21 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: I am already planning to blame the solo on France.
21 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: I think Germany is entitled to say whatever he wants.
22 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: There's a long history of discussion both for and against post-elimination help for other players. Let's not go into it here; those who want to could raise it as a forum discussion :)
22 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: Italy smells like a mod ;)
22 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: Guys, it was a great game and we indeed can't prevent France from winning it. May I suggest we save England from elimination and give France two SCs so England will finish the game with the rest of us?
22 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: Irrespective of any other errors - and many were made by various parties - France has earned the solo and it cannot in any way be prevented.

GG WP and the real inflection point was Germany going opportunist. the rest, as they say, is history.
22 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: Actually...it was you refusing to team up with me against France when he turned on me. You passed up a chance at a comeback. Your desire to see me punished is what lost everyone the game.
22 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: OK dead guy :D
22 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: So EOGs? I can write one on Sunday/Monday.
22 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: At this rate, we will be done in five days - another day for this turn, two days for retreats, another two days for the fall.
22 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: Assuming you figure out how to take StP, I will ready my retreat.
22 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: Germany needs to tell him how.
23 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: Perhaps I cannot count but I see 4 units on St Pete to Russias 3.
23 Jan 16 UTC Spring, 1913: Austria, Turkey, can we ready please?
24 Jan 16 UTC Hahahaha oh my lord it was DYAGER!
24 Jan 16 UTC GG and well played CK
24 Jan 16 UTC Well played France. A hard fought win. Let the endgame retributions begin!
24 Jan 16 UTC Good game, everybody. One of the most enjoyable games I have played.

Russia, you did an AMAZING job uniting the East.
24 Jan 16 UTC He did, though I still don't get why he stabbed me. I'm very interested to hear his endgame thoughts.
24 Jan 16 UTC Thanks fellas, good game all around. I am going to try to write an EoG today.
