30 Dec 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: im confused
31 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1907: HaHaHaHAHHAHAH
31 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1907: I think Turkey has left the game and has given the shaft to ole Russia by doing so.
01 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: Guys, since my ally has pulled out, without telling me, Russia is throwing in the towel. It is difficult to play a game when so many outside pulls of friendship at school are involved. I need to play where people want to win and will do what is necessary to do so, even if it means a double cross, and not just playing to gather points.
So long for this game.....
02 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: have a strange feeling this will end in a 3way tie
03 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1908: That should NEVER happen in a Diplomacy game.
05 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1909: well, idk. the draw buttons there for a reason. i think if you have a situation that promises nothing but a long drawn out pissing contest between two players, a draw saves time. also, if your losing, a draw would be VERY desirable, so i wouldnt go so far to say it should Never happen
05 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1909: What I am talking about is a PLANNED tie from the beginning of the game.
05 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1909: we dont plan these things. we see where we are.The idea for a draw doesnt develope until 2 superpowers do
07 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: but when the two super powers ally at the beginning of the game.....then it is planned if they both agree not to win, and that is what is happening in this game.
07 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: soooo...who wants to draw :D
08 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1910: I want a draw so we can end this NOW so everyone still playing will get some points in the overall standing. of the game.
11 Jan 10 UTC Good Game everyone. See Mr. Crook. You survived, and outlasted most others. I promise the other game i have been suggesting will be different. If we can get the right people in the game, those who do not ally for the whole game(which i will refuse to do), then the game will be a close one.
12 Jan 10 UTC I certainly don't mind forming alliances in the least, but I want to play to win which means at some point in the game, the alliance system breaks down and it's everyone for himself. When that happens is what makes the game so interesting.
12 Jan 10 UTC Let me know when you are starting another game. Mr. C
