Good game. I find a 3-way, even with only 5 starters, to be acceptable. I guess in a points-per-supply center game, there is not too much risk in going for a 2-way, except if you are the one eliminated ;-)

The first few times I played this variant, I suspected a little edge to Carthage and Persia, but that perception is going away. The advantage (as always) goes to cooperation.
