27 Mar 15 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [India]:do saved moves execute at the end of the phase even if not marked ready? |
27 Mar 15 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Quebec]:Yes |
30 Mar 15 UTC | Autumn, 2001: [Western-Canada]:Well world, looks like I was not able to keep trust-worthy allies early on this game. Rare, but it can happen. As the game progresses, any of you who work with USA, Quebec, or Pac-Russ... make sure you remember my demise at their hands. Have fun and good luck! I'll remain a pain in their ass as long as I can hold out. |
30 Mar 15 UTC | Autumn, 2001: [Pacific-Russia]:My little yellow friend we were just reclaiming the stolen land for Mother Russia sold to Secretary Seward in 1867 for 2 cents an acre, outrageous! |
30 Mar 15 UTC | Autumn, 2001: [Frozen-Antarctica]:I'm with WC on this one, Russia; sucks to suck |
30 Mar 15 UTC | Autumn, 2001: [Pacific-Russia]:Coming from a guy who killed poor Oz. |
30 Mar 15 UTC | Autumn, 2001: [Frozen-Antarctica]:stay fresh |
30 Mar 15 UTC | Autumn, 2001: [Quebec]:I had allied with Western-Canada early on in the game, but when Pacific-Russia and USA tried to recruit me for the take down I realized that Western-Canada and I could not win that war. Adapt or die. |
30 Mar 15 UTC | Autumn, 2001: [USA]:Sorry Western Canada, but when you hear things through the grapevine, and then the speculations turn out to be true, you have to proceed with your best interests in mind. It appears that the only trustworthy person in our three-way "North American Union" was myself, seeing as this is now the second time I have been attacked by Quebec, and had it not been for information from Pacific Russia, I would have lost a home supply center to you as well. Every turn for me has been defending myself against the both of you. So when you burn a fiery death let it be a lesson. If I don't make it through this game, let it be known that Quebec cannot be trusted, not even with one turn of planning. Pacific Russia has done nothing in the wrong against a scheming traitor like Western Canada. |
30 Mar 15 UTC | Autumn, 2001: [Quebec]:You both should have known that three people sharing a continent was never going to work. This board was designed for a player to first take continent control, then World Domination. That is why I focused on relations with other continents. You could be faithful to the American alliance because you could expand south. I could have gone for Europe and that's about it. With Europes capitols so close together it was illogical to expand there and my valued alliance with Pacific Russia prevented me from expanding east. My actions were only those of any player who can see the obvious. I value my forign alliances but players were never meant to ally with neighboring territories. I see no benefit on a Nirth American alliance and I'm sure you all can agree. |
30 Mar 15 UTC | Autumn, 2001: [Frozen-Antarctica]:that isn't true at all!!! Brazil/Argentina partnership, Quebec/WC one too, the Russian top of the world, African Insurgency (4 way partnership) come on! |
30 Mar 15 UTC | Autumn, 2001: [Pacific-Russia]:None of those partnerships panned out from the looks of things FA |
30 Mar 15 UTC | Autumn, 2001: [Quebec]:In order to achieve the ultimate goal of World Domination, capital control is a necessity. The nearest capitols to our spawns are located our continent, which makes continent domination a players preliminary goal. If you say anything else you either don't know how to play the game or your lying to yourself/other players. |
30 Mar 15 UTC | Autumn, 2001: [Western-Canada]:1) USA I never attacked you until this turn. I don't know what your referring to in regards to me not being trust-worthy in this game. 2) I've had two games where NA remain strong allies at the start. Both ended with a nation in NA either winning the game or multiple NA nations being in the end draw. It would have worked brilliantly. But I'm not salty. Its just the game and I should have trusted my gut and went at you strongly. Pac-Rus did a great job at causing us to war as he was telling each of us about the others plans, yes he also warned me of you both talking about attacking me. Fantastic job Pac-Rus at divide and conquer methodology. |
30 Mar 15 UTC | Autumn, 2001: [Quebec]:I believe in my statement and think that most would agree with me based on the number of continental alliances that have fallen thus far. |
