16 Jul 15 UTC | congrats on you second win! impressive. |
16 Jul 15 UTC | Y2K gave him the match with that disgraceful throw |
16 Jul 15 UTC | Not to take anything away from Jeff's play though - good game mate |
16 Jul 15 UTC | Doing what I could to potentially be in the draw, Wusti its your responsibility to sense my desperation and act accordingly, not just blindly join in the effort to squeeze me out. |
16 Jul 15 UTC | But blaming me and not looking at how it actially is mostly your fault he solo'd is another way to go about it. |
16 Jul 15 UTC | You can't expect dying players to move to make the draw, that's the surviving players responsibility. If you gave me an opportunity to survive, maybe I could have fought the solo. But your simple playing didn't convince me to do anything like the sort. |
16 Jul 15 UTC | Marseilles is really beautiful though I guess I can't blame ya too much :) |
16 Jul 15 UTC | Yeah, I had no idea what Spain was thinking on a couple moves, especially the loss of Libya in 2008. That's what convinced me to give up on eliminating Germany, as much as I would have liked to do so. That said, Turkey played an excellent game throughout, and undeniably contributed more to his own victory than anyone else did. |
16 Jul 15 UTC | I screwed up with Libya - probably around the same time as I did as Turkey allowing that Urals convoy that made me concede the draw in the other match. Too many games dragging on too long and lost focus and concentration on my games for a bit. remind me never to go into 3 or 4 tournaments at once again. |
16 Jul 15 UTC | Sorry Tas for not picking up the draw up north for a few moves, but doubt it would have mattered. Numerically overwhelmed down south. |
16 Jul 15 UTC | Very well played thru to Alps. |
16 Jul 15 UTC | In Libya, I made the decision to first go after Maltese Sea in Autumn 1999. This put Spain's disbanded fleet back where I hoped that he'd use it to steal someone else's SC to make up for the now inevitable loss of Libya in 2000. Epic land war with Poland with SCs trading hands back and forth many times. Fun stuff! |
