19 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Hey, put your names out there:

Johnny Buse, playing Italy as Giacamo Tormene.
19 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Herbie Lynn, playing Germany as Emperor Frederick William Victor Albert of Prussia
19 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Okay, I think I've got it figured out:

Italy - Johnny Buse
Germany - Herbie Lynn
Russia - Solomon Miller
Austria - Cary Speck
Turkey - Gabe Schechter
England - Carlos Lu
France - Nic Wilson

Also, I feel that I should disclose that Nic and I are playing in another game together as well, but we will NOT let bleed over in politics occur between the two games. You have my word.
19 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Solomon Miller, playing Russia as Tsar Nicholas the Totally-Not-About-To-Abdicate
19 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1901: I second the word of Johnny.

Nic Wilson, playing Waydelich as President of France and Gold Medal Winner in the 1900 Olympic Games held in Paris.
21 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: pro tip: don't fuck up your orders when you're wasted.
21 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: I wonder how many world leaders or military commanders have said something along those lines?
23 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: Someone should email Carlos so we don't have to wait a day and a half for the building phase.
23 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: It's sad how many of us have logged on since 2 am.
23 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: he doesn't have anything to build. if everyone clicks "ready" it will tick.
23 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1902: It'd be sweet if I could go more than one turn without fucking up my orders.
02 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1903: I like how the four of us have been lurking online for the next move
02 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1903: It's because I don't trust any of you bastards.
02 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1903: Reporting in!
02 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1903: aye aye
02 Dec 09 UTC Spring, 1903: Let's see what 4 minutes holds in store for this continent, these war ravaged people, this fucking world.

03 Dec 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: MONSTERTACO as the ~*GAME CHANGER*~
08 Dec 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Leaders of Europe:
I have been betrayed by France and Turkey. For years, I have sacrificed Instant Pleasure from an alliance with Russia based on what I thought was a moral rectitude presented by Turkey and a deep friendship shared with France. How wrong I was. Not only did France attempt to backstab me in Munich, but it was orchestrated with the help of Turkey, who promised me Vienna as repayment for my support to him in previous turns ONLY to attempt to distract me from France's movement. I do not know if Turkey actually meant to support me into Vienna, and I likely will never know. But, regardless, his alliance with France concerns me.
Leaders of Germany and England, I urge you to muster up your two fleets/armies and crush France. And be wary, be wary, of the giant Turkey monster hiding in your European Ottoman that you forgot about in the corner of your room.
Sincerely,
Some Guy From Italy
08 Dec 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: If you look at the larger map you will see that Turkey did indeed support Italy into Vienna, failed supports do not appear on the smaller map.
08 Dec 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Furthermore over the past year I have attempted to communicate with Italy, none of my envoys have been answered. It is not France that is reponsible for the opening of hostilities in Western Europe but rather the SILENCE OF ITALY. His choice to deny peace with France shall prove his downfall.
08 Dec 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: History has proved my nation a faithful ally to Italy. Where would Italy be today without the peaceful border I trusted him at Marseilles. Where would Italy be today had not I supported his invasion of Munich? What has Italy done in return? His defamation of my fair nation is laughable, his miserable entreaties to Germany pathetic. Does he forget that it was he that sank the first blade into the German belly? France desires only stability, my movement into Germany territory has been uncontested and serves only to fill a dangerous vacuum. Italy's calls for support are no more than WARMONGERING. Nations of Europe do not heed his call, rather, stand with me in working towards peace and prosperity for all of Europe.
02 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1908: The three of us are online so much that once england is gone, I think the game will end in a couple of days...
02 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1908: Haha, I just played a game in three hours with 5 minute turns. Was intense.
12 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1910: anyone interested in world cup of diplomacy tournament?

19 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1911: how about the following:

burgundy to munich, supported by ruhr and kiel, with berlin moving to silesia and belgium sliding down to burgundy

norwegian sea to NAO, EC to Irish sea, brest to EC, north africa to MAO supported by Portugal, something covers brest (maybe gascony and paris both move to brest and bounce back)

I'll try to take galicia from Ukraine, and cover moscow
19 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1911: haha, nice place to post that. i'll send you some different moves nick,
19 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1911: my bad
19 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1911: by the way guys, are either of you interested in the world cup tournament? I think we'd do pretty well with a grinnell team.
19 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1911: also, on the off chance either of you live in Massachussets and are registered to vote, make sure you vote coakley today, Scott Brown is a dumbass
19 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1911: when we're done, are you guys ready for a rematch or should we wait until we're back at Grinnell. I'd tend to think we should wait. It's helpful to be able to talk to people in person when alliances are just forming.
20 Jan 10 UTC please excuse the spacewasters I used to draw that comment out of the front page...
