13 Feb 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: I only had one coin left
13 Feb 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: Anyone know where I can get some more
13 Feb 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: Win this game. Then you'll have LOTS more.
13 Feb 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: New York.. I just hope that was sarcastically said and not meant.. Lol ;-D
15 Feb 15 UTC Spring, 2002: GameMaster: SwagmanYolo1 was banned: repeat multi. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
25 Feb 15 UTC Autumn, 2004: So long fella`s
26 Feb 15 UTC Spring, 2005: 6 way draw Anybody??
26 Feb 15 UTC Spring, 2005: deal
26 Feb 15 UTC Autumn, 2005: I'm up for that
27 Feb 15 UTC Autumn, 2005: Aw yes
27 Feb 15 UTC Autumn, 2005: Wooooow
07 Mar 15 UTC Spring, 2007: 4-way draw after California and Florida are defeated??
07 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 2007: ok
07 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 2007: however I'm willing to draw also in this moment
07 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 2007: The colors are a little hard to see on my computer - was that Quebec or Mexico that just said that?
07 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 2007: Quebec
08 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 2007: Quebec
14 Mar 15 UTC Spring, 2009: What a reward for being patient and loyal to somebody.. Thanks Mexico.. :-/
15 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 2009: I give up.. Didn't expect mexico to give such a treatment to faithful allies. Maybe new York and Quebec should be careful as well. Good luck!
15 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 2009: I'm just throwing this one out there, but when I go back and look at the archived moves, I see Mexican fleets moving with these big red east-facing arrows as early as Spring 2007. You had like three turns' warning.
15 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 2009: Yeah you are right.. But my fleets were in Bermuda triangle and sea of Sargasso.. So you expect me to pull all those back within a year to defend my territories? And mexico had promised me a draw. I could have easily stabbed him when he was in trouble fighting both Florida and California together. I kept patient and moved north.. So I guess I got my reward for it.
15 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 2009: I apologize bud but that's the game, if you had been stronger it wouldn't have happened
15 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 2009: Been stronger?? Where did you expect me to expand? We had an agreement that all of the Caribbean islands would be mine. You interfered there too! Quite interesting to see that you see it part of the game. At least I would think a hundred times before stabbing an ally as patient as I was and its the same reason I didn't even look towards moving on you. Anyway, you are highly experienced and maybe don't see a newcomer like me to be of much importance but surely, I will never stab a friendly neighbor if he is the direct reason of my progress.
16 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 2009: Isn't "friendly neighbors" the definition of a stab? It's not stabbing if you're not friends. Or former friends, I suppose. And it's awfully hard to stab someone who's not your neighbor.

And if you're a newcomer, don't worry too much about it. Everyone's gotta pay their dues. Everyone here has been stabbed before. This was a learning experience. You can get mad about it, or you can learn from it.

For instance, my first game, I was playing Russia, and Turkey and I had a beautiful Juggernaut going...everyone here knows how this story ends. I still go back and watch that game, turn-by-turn, to learn how Turkey timed it so perfectly. To this day, it's the most artfully executed stab I've ever seen. Someday, I want to be able to perform a stab that beautiful.
16 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 2009: I would sure like to see it too. Will definitely see it in your profile.. Do send me the name of that game if you can just to make it a little easier for me.
16 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 2009: It wasn't the first game I played, it was the second (but the first to finish). I think it was called "WTA Low."
16 Mar 15 UTC Autumn, 2009: Okay thanks.
17 Mar 15 UTC Spring, 2010: I really need to stop playing long phase games haha
17 Mar 15 UTC Spring, 2010: See, Peru? Proof of concept. Everyone gets stabbed at some point.
18 Mar 15 UTC Spring, 2010: Agreed.
19 Mar 15 UTC Why can't we just 4-way draw??
19 Mar 15 UTC I agree, I've run out of time to check this an Peru is right he was a great ally. Don't do it again though Peru cuz it'll bite you in the ass
19 Mar 15 UTC Wooohhoo.. Thanks mexico.. I guess after all I do get a reward for being stubborn lol..!! But yeah thanks to Mexico and New York, I learnt an important aspect of the game. Thanks a lot guys. Hopefully now New York taps draw and we end this.. :-)
20 Mar 15 UTC Your one last lesson is this, Peru: It's usually impossibly difficult to get that last person to draw if they're unambiguously winning. I'm going to be the exception to the rule today and draw, but if I do it right now, you won't ever see this message. So I'll leave this message here for a couple hours just so I know it'll get read, and I'll draw it when I get back from getting the oil changed in my car.

Congratulations on a game well played, everybody. Looks like you all made 11 points today (except for Quebec - he made 12 because he came in late and only had to put in 4 points).
