21 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: You could do well if you had a friend.
21 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: 8 hours is pretty darn fast.
Cuba just needs to get an army into Peru's territory otherwise Bogota is safe.
When both Florida and Peru NMR, it's actually worse for Cuba since neither can be an ally or counterweight against the other powers.
21 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: Yeah last night I tried to stay up late for the next phase, and ended up falling asleep like an hour befire it started. Then of course I slept for like 9 hours. It's not that it's really too fast to handle, it's just the worst amount of time to where it's sometimes a struggle to log on in time like last night. It either needs to be much shorter or longer.
And that's the biggest thing for Cuba. You're the only one not connected to the mainland, and so naturally you want to build fleets. But armies are still just as useful to you if not more.
21 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: Ya but convoying them can be tricky. I just notice that Cuba has zero advantage in any scenario here other than backstabbing or having a really good ally. Almost any other player can get a better foothold if they play right. Florida was my ally but how would I know that he would miss his turn. Otherwise I could have taken Miami and won out. I just find Cuba never does well.
21 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: Plus Texas backstabbed Florida I saw it coming but he didn't take the warning. Watch out Mexico
21 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: Hard to call anything a backstab when one party doesn't issue orders.
21 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: You made the move to Apalachee before he had missed his orders, hence backstab
21 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: im putting up a draw/cancel if others dont want to i understand but even with 12 hour phases there have been a lot of missed phases by people
21 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: Missed phases are definitely killing this game.
23 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2002: K I missed this cause of work. Can we just cancel this game? It's pointless
23 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2002: cancel or draw but id prefer draw, the rest of these guys dont deserve anything for slacking off (cuba at least youve came back)
23 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2002: When Peru and Quebec are eliminated, I will draw.
23 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2002: deal!
23 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: I agree
23 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: I don't care anymore cancel or take my shit, I'm fucked from that missed phase anyway
24 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2003: after california dies let's 4 way draw
24 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2003: okay
25 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2004: Nice retreats, Cuba. ;)
26 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2004: I'll finish up with cuba and peru so we can draw boys
27 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2005: fuck you texas
27 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2005: no cuba, no
27 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2005: Cuba, I thought you were being clever with that forced retreat since you didn't want to remain in the game. Sorry if I was mistaken.
27 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2006: no fucking way
27 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2006: I know, right? Who would have expected NY to move from West Car to Havana?
27 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2006: As a colorblind person I f*ucking hate the colors here. I don't know where am I and where is Texas :(
27 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2006: So....BC is the only one now without a vote to Draw.
27 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2006: good for him, cuba needs to die!!!
27 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2006: and new york just check your orders!
27 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2006: Mexico is correct. We agreed on a four-way draw.
Cuba! Roll over and die!
28 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2006: time to draw people!
28 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2006: peru left so a draw wont include him
28 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2006: Mexico, you CANNOT REST IN A WTA GAME. NY also took off their Draw vote. You have wasted the past year and they have taken up strong positions against YOU as a result.
28 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2006: BC also moved on New York #Ungava so the only solid alliance is you and me texas. if they want to fight that will be interesting but let's face it. drawing is the way to go
28 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2006: At least BC started to stab NY. Maybe he'll wake up now.
28 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2006: Mexico, I agree with you, but BC and NY don't. And they control 31 SCs to our 27 SCs. It's now an uphill battle where we were on even footing before.
28 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2006: For example, you could control most of the Caribbean and Hawaii now with just a few offensive moves. Now BC and NY have fleets in position to defend their SCs there.
28 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 2006: I only moved against New York because it really bothered me for some reason that he took Ungava from me. That's the only center I wanted. That and the fact that the game should be drawn now like we agreed upon.
28 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2007: new york you whore
28 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2007: If you believe that BC, you need to keep pressing NY until he votes Draw. The only way he'll change his mind is if he thinks he'll lose.
28 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2007: Maybe he just hasnt seen it yet...
28 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2007: Certainly possible, but I wouldn't ready my orders on that assumption. ;)
28 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2007: lol what if new york CDs
29 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2007: Looks very possible...
29 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2007: lol texas
29 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2007: 3 way draw after he CD's works for me.
29 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 2007: same
29 Nov 14 UTC Good game everyone!
29 Nov 14 UTC Good game. You snuck in there New York! Didn't think you'd make it
