04 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 1905: Ehooops
09 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: I am going to Scotland tomorrow afternoon to attend a wedding, back Sunday. Can we have a 48 hour pause, starting tomorrow, please?
09 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Oh, so just in these two?
09 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: As I said in the other game - he has already held us up twice without notice Im more than a tad sick of it tbh
09 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: To me it's just as offensive that a player with one center thinks they can still dictate the game like that. I was nice a moment ago but having seen the same crap from you in three games, it's pretty simple:

Get over yourself.
09 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Wusti, it wasn't my decision to make these games "wait for orders" and I think your bitching is a bit sad.
09 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Since the games ARE "wait for orders" I could just have buggered off without asking for a pause. As a courtesy, to be helpful to everyone else, I am letting you all know, and asking for a pause.
09 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: @ Phil - the reason I have not asked for a pause in all 7 of the Bob GK games is that for any games where the process time is more than 36 hours away, there's no risk of me missing the next turn in those.
09 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Ah, thanks.
09 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: I'm not pausing but I'm not putting orders in either
09 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Bo doc I do not giving a flying fuck at a rolling donut if you are a mod.the number of SCs is not relevant and we signed for 3 day cycles not 5 one week and 6 the next without the courtesy of notice not even contrition.

You sit there and watch obvious collusion across multiple games with players suiciding into me and call me out for wanting to reject a significantly late pause request.

Fuck you.
09 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Jamie and bob have made this series a disgrace and I can't wait for it to be finished.

Tell you what - why don't you abyss your mod power and ban me? Problem solved
09 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Jeezus. Calm down, Wusti.
10 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: I didn't intend on playing a series with Lando.
10 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Haha, good one, sockbo
11 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Anyone else think we should take WFO down...
11 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Tough to say. While it would be great for people to have a good reason not to wait for the autopause, it would really hurt the game if someone NMR.
11 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: No one is missing the full 3 day phases, people just aren't putting in orders when they're online because they know they can receive more press and do it after the phase actually ends.
11 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Possibly, but when we then have Wusti refuse to Pause on request, perhaps it is for the best. It's a real shame about the delays though.
11 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: You do realize that there are four games that are supposed to be processing right now, right? This is WFO abuse. It's ridiculous. It's exactly why kestas removed it from the game settings. The point of turning it on wasn't to give half the people in this series an excuse not to show up, it was supposed to give you a little buffer if you needed it. This game was supposed to move on over 30 hours ago and we're still here. It's bullshit.
11 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Which is the original point I made that you called me out on. I am entirely within my rights to want to deny and extension on an already long phase length. Continual delays are disrespectful.

What about some poor bastard who when entering the game series worked out that they could complete before say an overseas trip, but now cannot? Its an abuse and you should be ashamed of yourselves for calling me out on standing firm.
11 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: There is a reason you can VOTE on pauses rather than having them inflicted on you without your consent.
11 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Yeah, I'm no happier about the constant delays than the rest of you. Let's hope we can continue without major interruptions in the future.
12 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: I say we just draw the rest of the games and move on.
12 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Workin on it sorry!
12 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: There's a difference between refusing to pause because someone is away and you have something personal against them, Wusti, versus being tired of the continual delays. You and I are not talking about the same thing. You specifically targeted Jamiet, which was entirely irrational and inappropriate, when you could have easily given him the time he needed. That's what WFO is *supposed* to do. You attacked him for no reason. That's not abuse, that's just having a life outside of this game, which I am fine with.

What's not fine is coming on to send messages, showing that you've actually opened the map within the allotted time, and then not entering orders. Multiple players in this series have done it. I'm not naming names but everyone knows. The point of WFO is not to extend the phase if you need more time, it's to keep the game fair by preventing NMRs, but this is not fair anymore.
12 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: There were actually two stories Bo: the 1st being not even asking and missing phases then belatedly coming in asking for another extension, the 2nd was his and Bob's immature rant behaviour and fairly obvious concerted efforts across the entire game series to see me out.

They are separate issues - and I stand by my statement that the number of SCs remaining has no bearing at all on the relative "value" of a player's opinion - and he wasn't ONLY requesting for this match.
12 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: The funny thing is that its Sandgoose holding this match up and not Jamie
12 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Like I said, I'm not making this personal. I don't know why SG didn't put in orders a few days back when he logged in and I don't know why he posted here and then left. I don't know why he thinks it's okay to singlehandedly hold up three games and hold up a fourth as well. I find that unacceptable. Every single phase, at least one of these games gets held up and it is absolutely ridiculous. Considering that we didn't prearrange the use of WFO, it could be taken down because a single player objects to its use, and right now I am very tempted. I won't do it myself for obvious reasons, but I am very tempted nonetheless.

As for your rant, Jamiet missed one phase as far as I remember and was bailed out by WFO. That's what it's for. He missed the entire phase. He asked for a pause for a few days since he was away as he should rather than simply bailing on the game and depending on WFO, and you went off on him for whatever reason. As for his remarks on Bob, I really don't care, but if you care so much, then stop saying the exact same things of him that he is of others. It's quite hypocritical.
12 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: I was on a camping trip so orders were impossible. I got on when my phone was almost dead. Thought Jaime would take more time but I was wrong
12 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: You know, if I'm engaging in a fairly obvious effort across the series to see you out, Wusti, I'd ask how the game where you are France and I am Italy (game 5 on your scorecard) fits into your cognitive map?
12 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Hi. I'm back.
13 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: Does anyone else find the presence of a Russian naval base in Syria hilarious?
13 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: It's very realistic, isn't it...
31 Oct 14 UTC Spring, 1908: If I fail to turn in orders in any of the games it's because I have to leave for two days and don't know if I'll have internet.
19 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 1911: I am stalemated and Turkey deserves his part in this draw.
19 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 1911: Explain why plz
19 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 1911: If you don't agree with me, you are free to eliminate him yourself.
19 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 1911: Explain and we may or may not agree.
19 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 1911: And... if I don't?
19 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 1911: Look, either the two of you are going to try and jump Italy, in which case I stop fucking around behind his main line and help him, or one of you is going to try and jump Italy without the sanction of the other (same deal), or we get to spend a lot of time watching lines not move, or we can do a draw and end this game already that's been going on for three fucking months.
19 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 1911: I would point out that last turn, Sandgoose, you said "I'll vote for a 4 way if you want".
20 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 1911: Jamie, I don't really care, but I want a reason if we aren't reducing the draw. You and I dragged another series game out on the same grounds, so humor me.
20 Nov 14 UTC Spring, 1911: I know what I said james, all I asked was for your reasoning behind it, that's all.
30 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 1912: Ready up there, Sandgoobs.
30 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 1912: Sorry guys, have had a really bad stomach flu, never had it before but
I'm all kinds of fucked up
30 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 1912: You can draw now Jamiet
30 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 1912: Sorry to hear you're not well, Sandgoose. Get better soon!
30 Nov 14 UTC Good game. Keep drinking and eating light, SG. It doesn't go away otherwise.
30 Nov 14 UTC I have literally thrown up everythig in my stomach I have nothing left but dry hackig
