Autumn, 1903: Sorry all, missed to deadline.
Autumn, 1903: Why does it still say 2 days for retreats? Turkey please let us out of this purgatory finalize your retreat to Ankara. Even Austria submitted an order. |
|
Autumn, 1903: Hey, it isn't called "very slow" for nothing! ;) But I will second Russia, unless you think you might change your orders (not likely on a retreat phase), please hit "Ready" so that the turn executes a little more quickly. |
|
Autumn, 1903: he only has 1 place to retreat to!
Autumn, 1903: In all fairness, he/she may want to keep the same momentum of turns for work purposes. I know that I almost never finalize in a 24-hour game for that reason.
Autumn, 1903: I agree but the retreats was nearly up and it seems to have started over again. We will have nearly 6 days of it
Autumn, 1903: That was a system glitch (as far as I know)...
Spring, 1904: The Czar stands and bows to the plucky french. Very interesting Spring indeed. A knife to the throat of both England and Germany! I doff my Cap! |
|
Autumn, 1904: Tell me the truth guys. Am I really that hard to get along with that I chase so many people away from the game?
Autumn, 1904: No--I think it's just such a slow game, people forget that they're in it. :)
Autumn, 1904: haha thanks I feel so much better. :)
Autumn, 1904: just don't start eating any worms
Spring, 1905: Escargot count? I won't eat those either |
|
Spring, 1905: Those aren't food. They're shelled bugs.
Spring, 1905: what are muscles then? Brussel sprouts aren't food either... they are ammunition! |
|
Autumn, 1905: Merry Christmas for those of you on the Roman calendar. WE should discuss the game during the hollidays. I will be leaving Saturday morning for an Isolated cabane in the Valais (or St.Bernard region). I shall guard the pass to Italy for you Comrade! I believe that due to the "very slow" phase this shouldn't be a problem for me. That being said if others would prefer a pause I would be happy to comply. |
|
Autumn, 1905: I think we should pause. As I am off after this week and plan on partaking 'heavily' in the festive mood. :-)
Autumn, 1905: I can pause as needed.
Autumn, 1905: I can pause as well.
Autumn, 1905: Sure if you guys need, but no promises I'll remember to log back on in time :)
Autumn, 1905: why were all the retreats done so fast. I was counting on the 3 days. Thus we would likely not need to pause
Autumn, 1905: I have the site on my ipod so I should be able to get to some sort of civilization and get on line to progress things. this phase looks as though it will go the 3 days. we may be able to pause after that
Autumn, 1905: I did a quick retreat, didn't realize you were counting on the three days. We can certainly pause after the builds, or even before, I don't have a problem with that.
Autumn, 1905: no worries my Ipod will save Mother Russia
Spring, 1906: France we are waiting on your pause....he says this as he puts down his 3 double rum and coke.... Merry Christmas! |
|
Spring, 1906: Thanks for the reminder, didn't know I needed to click anything. I'm on pause as well now. Merry Christmas, all!
Spring, 1906: Merry Christmas from Amsterdam!
Spring, 1906: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
Spring, 1906: You were in Amsterdam? Why didn't you tell me I would have come to visit......oh I get it now......jokes are funny... I get jokes. anyway I am back so once we get people back on here we can hurry up and finish this world war. |
|
Spring, 1906: Just a reminder, everyone needs to hit Unpause before this thing can get moving again.
Spring, 1906: England can we unpause this thing and get it going again?
Spring, 1906: We have not seen head or tail of England for over a week, soon to be two. Also, this is his only game on this site, so unless somebody knows him personally, we may have to consider the possibility that he's not coming back. Is there any way to petition a mod to get the game manually unpaused?
Spring, 1906: I can look into it we need to get things moving.
Spring, 1906: Yes, we can certainly petition to have it unpaused. Let's go!
Spring, 1906: (figlesquidge): Hi all, I'll be sorting this out for you as soon as practical. I've emailed England to ask his side, and if you haven't heard back from me in a day or two then feel free to PM me. ~ Figlesquidge |
|
Spring, 1906: Thanks Figlesquidge! We would certainly welcome England back, but really need to get this game moving agian.
Spring, 1906: Yea number one choice would be england back
Spring, 1906: Don't a couple of you guys have England's contact info? Why don't you just call him up and see what he'd like to do?
Spring, 1906: I've sent him some emails, and no response. I don't know what's up with him.
Spring, 1906: (figlesquidge): Got the PM, and I'm putting England into CD. I've left it paused - you can decide if you want to restart straight off or wait a bit in hopes for a new England |
|
Spring, 1906: Thank you figlesquidge! I am all for moving this along. If a replacement England wants to step in that's fine, but I'm not sure we would need to wait for one.
Autumn, 1906: Sorry all. I have been so busy that I completely forgot about the game.
Autumn, 1906: The dead have risen!
Autumn, 1906: Mayor West worst fears come to life ... Zombies
Autumn, 1906: Hey is anyone one else hearing voices? It seem to have a bad German accent. However when I look for the speaker there is no one there.
Autumn, 1906: that is just your guilty conscience. Out out damn spot
Autumn, 1906: lol | |
