14 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 1999: Sorry for missing a turn! I know I should've checked this site before bed...
16 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2000: Quebec can you save your retreat please? We are waiting on you
16 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2000: He has nowhere to retreat to...he has only 1 option...
16 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2000: Okay but may as well ready the turn anyways, can't stop it from happening
20 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: So now 3 vs 1? Very nice
20 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: WTF is up here? Looks like there's an agreed upon draw already in this game from year one. Doesn't make it very fun for anyone else.
20 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: It's called communication my friend. You didn't say a word to me. You pick and choose ur allies. But u never know what's going to happen
20 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: I've talked to enough players in this game to know that I am not the only one who suspects this.
20 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: I don't care if they did. I'm just said that it wasn't me who they allied with..
20 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: I trust the mod who said no one was cheating. I think this is just an example of long term alliances. It seems better for players in these larger maps to make multiple long term allies instead of just one like in regular diplomacy. I'm sympathetic to the suspicion, but the mods said nothing fishy was going on. Whatever alliances are going on were made with trust and communication.
20 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: Ya through pre-existing relationships which I believe fall under the meta clause. I normally wouldn't care but as I have told others in this game the same thing happened in a previous game because I had a three way alliance and the game was cancelled. I admitted to knowing one of the people and even though all of our messaging was in-game we still got shut down. If that is the precedent than this is cheating/meta
20 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: The problem is it's so blatant you don't protect your borders and thus it is as if you are one player which then would indicate you are just trying to draw for the points. Again this would be fine in say an end game scenario where two or three players are already dominating and later decide its better to eliminate the stragglers for mutual benefit but doing so right from the get go ruins the game for other players who don't stand a chance.
20 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: I love how people love to jump to cheating when they realize they have lost. Any larger alliance here was formed at the start of the game and remains because it is working well. In diplomacy alliances are an integral part why are you questioning that?
20 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: What I said stands. I wouldn't complain if my game hadn't been shut down for similar reasons, I am going to lose I accept that but if my other game was shut down on less evidence I'm pissed that it is happening here without consequence. And at least this stayed civil should have read Russia's screams of cheating :) Fucking nuts!
20 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: btw waiting on you Texas ;)
20 Jun 14 UTC Spring, 2003: thanks cali for the ready up note
20 Jun 14 UTC Spring, 2003: Withdrew the complaint FYI. Still pissed but good game anyways
21 Jun 14 UTC Spring, 2003: Texas is Havana bit of a problem finalizing his moves again.
23 Jun 14 UTC Spring, 2004: Sorry I missed a turn
23 Jun 14 UTC Autumn, 2004: Lesser Antilles or DR...
