11 Jun 14 UTC I'm so sorry France
11 Jun 14 UTC I figured that since England was so adamant in letting Turkey win, I'd give him a helping hand.
11 Jun 14 UTC eh, its okay. Learn from this game. If you didn't attack me and germ nay, we could have drawn with turkey. Its called a stalemate line.
11 Jun 14 UTC I was trying to get around to blockade Turkey. I wasn't threatening you.
11 Jun 14 UTC gg Sherincall, btw
11 Jun 14 UTC As soon as Italy I couldn't really lose, unless you all somehow managed to coordinate a defense of Spain/France.
11 Jun 14 UTC Yes, I don't find getting my stalemate lines rammed up the arse threatening at all.
11 Jun 14 UTC I understand that, that wasn't the problem. I had my front locked up without your help. The person who needed help was germany. By attacking him, you let turkey win
11 Jun 14 UTC ^@england
11 Jun 14 UTC It wasn't fair, as Austria wasn't playing, but there weren't any cancel votes in the first few turns..
11 Jun 14 UTC If I just left Germany alone to fight turkey I would've lost my SC's I didn't really have access to fight turkey anyways. Not without going through Germany or France first.
11 Jun 14 UTC hey its your first solo sherincall! congrats!
11 Jun 14 UTC Yeah, I thought people would adjust to the play, but when Italy quit it was gg
11 Jun 14 UTC Should have let England take and hold Spain and Portugal, France and Germany defend Munich.
11 Jun 14 UTC I'm new to this site, but I've played this a lot. Thanks anyway!
11 Jun 14 UTC @england go back to spring 1907. At that point, all of your units were where they needed to be. We could have stalemated turkey if you just support held germany and me from that position.
11 Jun 14 UTC That's a possibility, England, but which is better in a WTA:
-Losing a few SCs in Scandinavia
-Losing the game
11 Jun 14 UTC Even if we coordinated something it would've been hard since Austria AND Italy left
11 Jun 14 UTC In any case, I was in no position to counter-attack. I only double-backed because you missed a phase and I thought you were going inactive.
11 Jun 14 UTC Spring 07 was when I missed the phase.
11 Jun 14 UTC It wasn't that hard. Germany and I specifically retreated to defend against austria. And you wouldn't have lost anything in scandinavia either.
11 Jun 14 UTC so you could have done the same in fall. Doesn't matter.
11 Jun 14 UTC I don't think you could have gotten to the Gibraltar stalemate line in time. I had more fleets, and I'd take Spain or Marseilles. I really didn't expect to do anything in Munich.
11 Jun 14 UTC Sorry to both Germany and France. Both it was a good game. Congrats Turkey
11 Jun 14 UTC The difficult bit would've been the mixed nation fleet required to defend the Med. Difficult, but not impossible.
11 Jun 14 UTC Well I'm kind of new here and I don't play gunboat often. But I'll take this as learning experience. I'm taking off. Good game all
11 Jun 14 UTC Thanks guys, it was fun. This is actually my first gunboat game.
And now, I'm off to sleep, as it is 7AM here.
11 Jun 14 UTC @trukey assuming munich ws locked up, I would have done just fine in gibraltar. Assuming no interference from england,I could have gotten fleets in position in time. I made sure of it every turn.
11 Jun 14 UTC yeah, gg everyone. message me if you guys have a live game starting up and I'm on.
